Robin's Love (Teen Titans)

Chapter 22

Raven just made time stop? I never knew she could do that, i don't even think she knew she could do that...I was frozen in time, i knew what was going on but i couldn't move a mussle, or hear anything, apparently Slade was immune to Ravens spell, he contunied to torment her, my sister, cousin, friend, was in trouble, and theres nothing i can do about it!

I couldn't hear anything i could just watch, i couldn't move nothing, just watch the silent message unfolding infront of me, I watched as Slade grabbed Raven and looked her in the eye, i watched as Raven's eyes filled up with tears, a very rare sight. I also watched as she ran over to Robin who, would have been crushed if Raven didn't freeze time. When Raven touched him Robin started to move again, Raven's touch can allow whoever she touches to be unfrozen. Maybe i can talk to her, i conncentrated, and conncentrated on willing Raven to hear me in her head.
*Raven! Raven unfreeze me* i asked in my head *Raven please hear me*
*Jess! are you ok?* she asked
*what do you think im frozen in time! how did you do that anyways?*
*im not really sure, i have to tell Robin everything*
*I understand but can you please unfreeze me? i can help*
*I don't want you to get hurt stay there* she said as i watched her lead Robin away
*i don't really have a choice! Raven unfreeze me now! im not helpless and how knows this could affect me too* i yelled as she walked out of the room

So she thinks she can just leave me here? i know im not that experience but were related somehow so this message could invlove me. she just doesn't want to get hurt. Shes treating me like i'm some little girl when im older than her! well that doesn't make sense but i know that Raven's only 14 and im 15, how are we a year apart? that doesn't matter right now i just know shes treating me like im her little sister. ok if Raven can freeze time maybe i can unfreeze it, or atleast free myself....I conncentrated, and willed my mussles to move, and they did! i was free! oh but im still in a cage made of fire...easily i put out the flames with water and the cage turned to ash around me...now i need to find Raven and Robin.

Robin P.O.V.

"I never wated this day to come and when i did i just wanted it to stop...i guess i got my wish" Raven said walking with me explaining
"but why is this happening?" i asked
"Its my birthday" she said grimly then Slade. emerged from one of the building around us
"I have a message for you, and it will be deliverd weather you like it or not."
"Raven Run" i yelled as i turned to face Slade

"skies will burn, flesh will become stone" Slade said as he advanced forward, all my disks were doing nothing to stop him, he was just burning them before they could hit him, "the sun will set on your world, and never wil rise again, time won't wait forever you can't run away from who you are" Slade said advancing on Raven, i was trapped by a wall of flame
"Leave my Sister alone" yelled a voice above me i looked up to see Jess hovering about Slade on an ice board, wow shes is amazing, i thought as i watche her try to fight slade by throwing everything she could at him
"older sister protecting little sister how sweet, too bad theres nothing you can do about it" Slade said throwing a fireball at her which she quickly blocked
"I can try!" Raven said and turned into a huge black Raven and grabbed me and Jess and toke us to some old abandoned library

"I told you to stay there!" Raven yelled at Jess
"well guess what I don't take orders from you!" Jess said angily "im just trying to help you"
"that mark on his forehead what does it mean?" i asked stepping inbetween them, Raven and Jess shared a knowing look, argh this is so frustrating
"I shouldn't have dragged you into this any of you and you need to know, when i was born i looked into my future...on this day the aniversery of my birth somehting bad is going to happen, something very bad, thats why I didn't want to celebrate, but just because you don't have a party doesn't mean its not your birthday..." Raven said
"that mark i've seen it before" i said still trying to understand how Slade got his powers
"Raven you need to get out of here before slade comes back me and Robin can handle him" Jess said leaving my question unanswered
"no get out of here, i need to face him alone" Raven said looking Jess in the eye, i hate it when they do that, they have silent converstations in their heads, i saw Jess nod, as she tugged on my hand

"Come on Robin we need to get somewhere safe" she said as she guided me away from Raven, when i looked back I saw Slade standing next to Raven and they disapeared
"what? Where did they go?" i asked franticily
i heard her sigh "Slade toke Raven into the future, showing her what is to come..."
"we have to go and help her!" i said letting go of her hand
"Robin you have to stay right here trust me, you can't move from this spot, please" Jess said moving me so i was standing right under a skyscraper
"why?" i asked
"just trust me please, i have to go but stay here, please just do what i say" she said looking at me one last time before turning away
"wait, where are you going?" i asked
"im going to help Raven, it is really important you stay right in this spot" she said turning around
"Ok i'll stay here just be careful" i said, as i grabbed her wrist and pulled her back to me "promise?" i said
"promise" she said softly, and i kissed her hard, and long worried that she was going to get hurt but i trusted her so i would stay here and wait and hope for the best. she pulled back first, and turned and ran away and looked back at me and smiled, she would be fine, she has to be.

Normal P.O.V. (Jess's P.O.V.)

Leaving Robin there was hard, i knew it was for the best, i knew Slade would lead Raven to the roof of that building, i just hope Robin trusted me enough to stay there, i sighed this was goingi to be hard...i followed the instrucions Raven gave me to follow her and slade into the future. I sat down in the middle of the lake in the park, and created the mark of Scath out of water particales, i closed my eyes and chanted
"Azerath Metrion Zinthos, Azerath Metrion Zinthos," soon enough i was teleportated into a world that was full of Flame, and saw Trigon sitting on the Teen Titans Tower, willing myself not to dwell, i made my way to the skyscraper i knew Raven was at, and i came just in time

"Your going to destroy the world Raven" i heard Slade wisper in Raven's ear, "I'll make sure of it"
"NOOOO" i heard Raven yell as she colasped and fell off the flaming building

Quickly i created a portal, so that when Raven would fall though she would go back into the presant world and hopefully Robin would be there to catche her, now its my turn

"Slade." i said stopping him before he turned to teleport back to presant time too
"Oh Jess right? nice to see you again, i was beginning to wonder how long it would take for you to follow me here"
"sorry to keep you waiting" i said sarcstily, i created an ice block to connceal Slade in for a while "and its Cascade to you" i said as i turned away
"its takes a lot more than just ice to keep me quiet little girl" Slade said melting the ice, "However i do believe i have another message for you, but that will be another day" he said as he dispeared, angrily i created a very sharp ice shard and sent it his way, it him him right in the head before he fully disapeared

i guess its time to go back into the real world, I sat down and created another portal, and ended right back where i was, when i followed Raven and Slade, i was in the park, weakly i limped back to where i hoped Raven and Robin were, time was still frozen...how are we going to fix that?

Robin P.O.V.

i was just standing there bored, waiting for Jess to come, back, god i hoped she was ok, i hoped Raven and Jess were ok, i was just laying down looking up at the frozen sky, suddenly i sad a figure falling through the sky, oh my god it was Raven! i instantly jumped to my feet and caught her just in time, her hair was longer and her uniform as all ripped up, she also was covered in some weird marks.

"Raven!" i said trying to get her to wake up, she was pretty beat up
"Robin" she said slowly opening her eyes
"wheres Jess? is she ok? where is she?" i asked, i know Raven's hurt but all i could think about is Jess, where did she go
"I-I don't know shes suppossed to be here by now..." Raven said looking around worridly
"she can't just be gone! your here and you disapeard into the future, did she follow you there?"
"yes she did, she created the portal to send me back here she should have followed right after me...sh-she went after Slade! god why does she never listen to me!" Raven sadi regaining her power slowly, "if she lost against Slade, she will cease to exist" Raven said sadly

what? cease to exist, no that can't happen Jess can't just die? or not even exist, thats impossible that couldn't happen she wouldn't do that anyways

"why didn't you stop her?" i asked Raven, my voice filling with anger
"Robin there was nothing i could do" Raven said
"Raven are you ok?" i heard Jess's voice behind me, OH THANK GOD
"you ok!" i said happily
"yeah...i know...? i wasn't in danger" Jess said, looking at me smirking slighly, Raven was strong enough to stand so i let her untangle herself from my arms...awkward...
"lets just go home" Raven said smiling at Jess and gave her look, meaning they were talking again, in their head, just great!
"we still have on problem, everytings still frozen" i said

Raven and Jess just nodded and sat down together and begain chanting
"Azerath Metrion Zinthos, Azerath Metrion Zinthos, Zinthos, Zinthos, Azerath, Metrion Azerath, Zinthos" and time started again, smiling i ran up to Jess, and hugged her tightly, almost afraid that if i let her go she would disapear again
"umm...Robin im not going anywhere you can let go now" she wispered in my ear, reluctently i let go and follow Raven home, calling the team to meet us back home.

When we got home, BeastBoy, Cyborg, and StarFire were waiting in the middle of the living room, the posters, and balloons were back up
"ummm.....surpise?" BeastBoy said looking at Raven
"we know you didn't what a party...but after today...."Cyborg said looking at Star for help
"we though you would reconsider" Star said  smiling
"you may not like you birthday, but i'm- i mean were all really glad you were born" BeastBod said smiling to Raven
"were going to need ice cream" Raven said smiling slightly

The rest of the team moved away and started celebrating i turned to Raven
"are you ok?" i asked
"I will be"
"when you told be about you destiny, you said something bad was going to happen...i guess it did, i sorry i couldn't do anything to prevent it..."
"no one could" Raven said
"we will find slade, we will figure out how he did what he did and why he was after you, but right now you safe with your friends its over" i said smiling, as i hugged her a walked away looking for Jess

Jess's P.O.V.

I was cutting the cake when i saw Robin walking towards me
"i was so worried about you" he said as he approached me
"thank you, for trusting me and staying where i told you to, Raven would be dead if it wasn't for you" i said "and theres nothing to worry about i can handle myself" i said looking up at Robin
"i know you can, but i can still worry" he said as he quickly leaned down and kissed me, and pulled away before i could react.

I hate it how soft little pecks could drive me crazy, I hate how Robin could drive me insane with one smile, i hate it but i love it, lost in my thoughts, i downed out the noise around me.
"so yeah what do you think?" i heard Robin say next to me, i realized i just missed whatever he said
"s-sorry i was lost in thought, what do i think about what?" i said looking back at him, he sighed and took a big breath
"i was wondering, well thinking, i like you alot, and i thought it would be nice if we did something sometime, just the two of us, and you know maybe you could be my girlfriend.....so yeah what do you think?" he mumbled looking down at his shoes

he just asked me to be his girlfriend! Robin just asked me out, holy shit! i was so happy now, not caring who was around i smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck, and kissed him with everything i had, i felt him slowly put his arms around my waist, and smile into the kiss, sadly we have to breath at some point and we broke the kiss.
"i really hope that means yes" he said smiling
"yes it does!" i said smiling

"about time" BeastBoy said "Ha! i win Cyborg pay up!"
"guys why couldn't you have waited for like a week or two?" he grumbled and handed BeastBoy a twenty
"i wish you two the best of luck" Star said smiling slightly
*way to go jess* raven said in my head
*thanks, by the way, how are you feeling?*
*light headed but fine, you know its not over*
*I know not by a long shot...*
