Shadow watched Saffire desperately, telling her to make peace with the dragon.
"Please," Saffire pleaded, "If we work together we can escape."
"I'm sorry," The sand striker said, "I don't want a reason to be punished."
That made Shadow's heart race. How kindly he talked to her, it made everything feel comfortable and soothing, but in a frightening way.
Thankfuly, they weren't fighting eachother, only sitting there whispering.
"LOOKS LIKE WE GOT REBELS!" The announcer said excitedly, "SEND IN THE OTHER ONE!" For a horrible moment Shadow thought that the announcer ment him. No! He thought, I won't fight! But then he saw another Night Flyer rolled in a dragon proof cage.
