I get to my locker and see Jennifer waiting for me there like she always does.
"Sooo, You and Billy hey?" She says nudging my side
"Me and Billy? Are you serious? As if" I tell her as I open my locker with a smile on my face
"Alright, what about you and Steve, huh? Wheeler and Harrington"
"You've got be kidding me. Never gonna happen" I open my locker door and see a piece of paper falls onto the floor. I pick it up and look at it.
"Ooo, Sammie you've got a secret admirer" she says to me with a grin on her face. I roll my eyes and flip over the paper

The bell rings and I stuff it in my back pocket.
"I'll catch you later, I gotta get to class. Got to get my seat before Lindsey steals it again" Jennie says to me as she walks away from me
"Yeah, see ya" I watch as she turns the corner down the hall. I look around to make sure no one is in the hallway. I pull out the paper and open it.
Meet me in the gym in 4th period. -Billy

It's fourth period and I get to the gym and see Billy playing basketball shirtless with Steve. Nancy walks up beside me making me do a double take and turn my head and give her a questioning look.
"Steve?" I ask her
"Yeah. Billy?"
"Yeah"
We both nod our heads and look at the two boys.
"Whoo! That's what I'm talking about! Whoo!" Billy yells out as he makes eye contact with me and grabs a towel and dabs the sweat off his face a little and puts it over one shoulder.
"Steve?" Nancy calls out. Steve looks at her and makes his way over to her, then they both leave the gym with Billy following behind Steve, making his way towards me.
"Looks like my sense of style has rubbed off on you Wheeler, with the open chest shirts" Billy says with a smirk on his face "Some would even think that's my shirt"
"Don't flatter yourself too much, Hargrove"
Billy chuckles a little and looks down at the floor and then back up to me.
"Walk with me Wheeler" He tells me as he puts his sweaty arm around my shoulders and leads me out the gym doors into the hallway a little.
"Look, I'm going to be one hundred percent honest with you here" he says to me as I lean against the lockers "The way I have been acting towards you - I have been a dick"
