Love is a game that no one can really master to play. I did play with it, but I ended up hurting myself so much. I ended up hurting the one I love.

  

I bet some girls out there had experienced what I experienced. And if you think that vengeance is the only way to mend your broken heart, you are absolutely wrong. Vengeance? I thought it was easy. I thought I can be happy.  I thought I won when I hurt him. But I lost. It’s because I realized that I can never be truly happy without him. Because I fell for him. Because I loved him. I didn’t realize that when you play with hearts, you’re also gambling yours.

  

All games end. Some will walk away crying and broken. And some will walk away rejoicing and complete. But in the game of love, two can both play and win. And luckily, both of us realized that before it’s too late. 

“Krysh! Let’s go! ” sigaw ni Mika.

“Okay. Chill. Kinakabahan ako sa inyo eh! ” sabi ko naman.

“Sorry, sister. Ikaw kasi ang nauna eh. Kaya excited kami. ” sabi naman ni Jam at nag-giggle. 

“Oh di next year, kayo naman ni Paolo! ” sabi ko at nag-grin.

“Uh-uh! Not gonna happen! Kami muna! ” singit naman ni Shay sabay taas ng isang kamay. And yes! There it is! A ring! 

“Oh my God! The bitch is engaged! ” napatalon si Mika sa tuwa. Gusto ko mang tumalon pero ang bigat ng gown ko. Hahaha. 

“Envy me, bitches! ” sabi naman ni Shay sabay tawa.

“Kailan pa?! Bakit hindi namin alam?! ” nag-cross arms si Jam.

 “Actually, nung isang araw pa. Gusto ko sanang sabihin kaso si bride-to-be natin, masyadong tense at nagpapanic that time. ” sabay turo sa akin.

 “Oh My God. Really? ” tanong ko. Bigla nanaman tuloy akong kinabahan.

“Yes, bitch. Pero okay lang. Sorry. After wedding niyo pa sana sasabihin ko para hindi ako makasira pero naunahan ako ng daldal ko. Hahaha. ” sabi ulit ni Shay.

“Nooooooo! It’s okay! OMG, Shay! I’m happy for you! Congratulations! ” sabi ko sa kanya at niyakap. Lumapit si Jam at Mika para makiyakap na rin. 

“Bitches. Stop. Yung make-up natin, masisira! Wala na tayong oras para ayusin ulit! ” sabi ni Mika sabay hiwalay. 

“Yeah! You’re right. Congratulations ulit, Shay! I’m sure, magiging happy kayo ni Chris! Oh My Gosh! ” gustong gusto ko na talagang tumalon pero hindi ko magawa.

 “Get over it muna, ano ba. This is your day. At ito ang pinaka-importanteng araw sa buhay mo! Enjoy it while it lasts!” Nakangiting sabi ni Shay.

 “Wow. While it lasts talaga? Hoy! Forever na to noh!” sabi ko sabay palo ng mahina sa braso niya. At nag-giggle.

 “Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s go, maids! ” hatak ni Mika kay Shay.

 “Maid ka jan! ” sabay tawa ni Shay at umalis na sila ni Mika.

Naiwan kami ni Jam at humarap siya sa akin.
