Kendall's POV

I hold on to the sweater and see [Y/N] running outside.

What have I done?

My hand is trembling and I want to get out of here.

"Kendall, dude. What's with you?" I hear my friend Logan ask me.

"Nothing, I'm out of here." I say as I turn my back to them.

I hear my friends yell a few things at me but I don't wanna know what it is.

I've made a huge mistake.

At home I'm dialing [Y/N] number several times.

She isn't picking up, letting me straight go to voice mail.

I sent her a few e-mails, text messages and I'm even thinking about stopping by her house.

Should I?

I keep seeing the hurt look on her face when she threw her sweater at me.

Taking a look at it and sigh.

She loved this gift so much and now it doesn't mean anything to her anymore.

Stupid me.

Why do I care so much about what my friends think of me?

-------------

It's been two weeks, she hasn't returned any of my calls or texts.

Whenever I see her at school, she turns her back to me and heads off.

She even carries all her books for the whole day in her bag, so she doesn't have to stop at her locker that much.

"Yo Kendall, here!" I hear James yell at me.

I turn around and see him, Logan, Carlos, Dustin and some unknown guy standing by her locker.

Walking over to them, wondering who the heck this other guy is.

"This is Jacob, remember him? He went to Europe last year and now he's back!" Carlos says with a smile, patting him on his back.

I nod, "Hi, welcome back."

I've never liked this guy.

He's one of those lady-men, seducing them into having fun with him.

Then dumping them like a piece of trash.

"Hey man, long time no see!" Jacob says to me as he bro-hugs me, "How's it going?"

I frown, "I'm good man. You're excited to be back?"

He nods, "Yeas dude, this school isn't how I remembered it at all. Plus there are lots of hot new girls I see. The ones from last year have become sexy, damn!"

I smirk, "You haven't changed at all."

English class, her favorite.

She's sitting at the very font desk and I'm at the back.

I stare at her and I see that's she's wearing new shoes.

Everything seems a little different, like she changed herself a little.

The school bell rings and I get up.

I feel someone rushing by me to the front.

Jacob's probably making a move with a girl again.

Grabbing my bag, I look up and see that he's talking to [Y/N].

I bite my lip.

She's putting a string of hair behind her ear and smiles a little while her cheeks turn into a light red shade as he politely introduces himself to her.
