“Does it matter what color beads we get?” Blake asked as they browsed the jewelry aisle in search for what Emily claimed the perfect options.

“Yes. You wouldn't give a girl you like just any random piece of jewelry, would you?” Emily retorted picking up some glass beads and examining them under the light. They gave off enough sparkle for her to toss them in the basket before she moved on to the next color.

“No, I would take her to the store and have her pick out whatever she wanted.” Blake defended tossing a box of neon beads into the basket. Emily raised an eyebrow at his actions causing him to shrug and take the basket away. It wasn't until almost an hour later that they finally were able to leave the store along with two shopping bags full of miscellaneous items.

“I have a question for you” Blake stated as he drove them to the day care, Emily looked over at him with a confused  look. “How were you going to get the kids home if you don't have car seats for them?”

Emily eyes widen in realization and she glanced behind her, sure enough, two car seats were safely strapped to the back seat.

“I didn't even realize that, I was too excited to help Kenny that I forgot. I'm such a horrible person!” Emily exclaimed covering her face with her hands. Her reaction reminded Blake of her friend Claire on the day she and Daliah tried to parent them. Cute, but slightly over dramatic.

“Don't stress about it, the school has loner seats for emergency situations, you would have been fine. After you were done panicking, that is.” He teased signaling into the school lot. She let out a sigh of relief, her attention quickly going to all the the kids waiting by the front entrance.

“Do we need to get off?” She asked when Blake put the car in park. He simply shook his head and pointed to the school. A younger woman wearing khaki pants and a Polo shirt with the school logo was walking their way, in her arms she carried a sleepy looking Mila while Kenny walked backwards behind them.

“If that kid falls I'm going to laugh.” Blake stated in a flat voice. They watched as the group got closer, and Blake finally got out of the car when they were only a few feet away. Taking Mila from the teacher her placed her in her car seat and waited for Kenny to finish waving his good byes.

“Bye Kennyny!” A voice called out as the boy got into the car, Kenny rolled the window down the moment the door closed behind him and stuck his head out.

“Bye Aubey! See you tomorrow!” He waved as the car drove away. Blake rolled his eyes and Emily stole a look at the little girl in question. She really was cute or as Kenny had put her “pretty” her red hair looked like a shining sea of golden red curls.

“Emmy! Are we going on another date?” Kenny asked with a cheeky smile. Blake's constant mumbling and Emily laughter filled the car ride back home.

“I want it to be really shiny. Like so shiny she needs glasses to see it” Kenny stated as he and Emily continued threading beads. So far the duo had managed to make three different bracelets, one for each of Kenny’s moms and one for Claire. “Do you think she will like it?” He asked as they put the final clasp in place. In his hands Kenny held a navy and gold beaded bracelet, separating the colored beads was a clear cut glass bead that gave the bracelet the expensive look he was going for.
