FAREWELL

I just want you to know

That I'll forever be there for you wherever you go

Always at your side you will find me

Because with our love support comes free.

I won't say that I'll miss you

Because our memories shall see me through

Remember, goodbyes are not the end

Because loving you has become my life's eternal trend.

So don't say goodbye, I hate that teary farewell

Just promise me you'll be safe and take care of yourself

Rest assured our love shall forever swell

It will become a legend for generations to tell.

You stand on the verge of departure

When you leave my heart is going to rupture

But for you, I'll control my tears, I won't let you capture

My sadness of the impending farewell that is cracking my heart further.

I watch as you slowly sail away

Staring at the blue ocean, I see you sway

I watch until you finally fade

And all that remains is a dark shade.

You told me not to cry

You think it's easy when my heart's on a double fry?

But don't worry love, I swear I'll try

Bit by bit strength I will pry.

Grief, sadness, sorrow now looms over me

To see whether you would be willing to take the risk

Forgive me, love but these tests I had to take

To prove to myself our love was worth the struggle we would have to undertake.

Love – you are a unique creation

For you, heroes have fought for a million generations

To attain you heroes have started wars

With their swords, they were ready to face anyone's wrath.

You defeat logic, you defeat every single rule

You make us fight against this world so cruel

For the fire of love, society's resistance acts only as a fuel

To consider true love unacceptable, I declare them a fool.

They asked whether you were worth it

They didn't know they were asking the sun about its heat

The ocean about its water

The universe about its matter.

They might as well ask the ocean not to be salty

Because nothing they say can change the reality

Because you are the one who makes me the world's beauty

Our love will win, defeating this world's cruelty.
