I'VE LEARNT

Today, there is a jumble of thoughts in my mind

While one idea is being explored, a pain is trying to hide

Somewhere in the depths of distractions and passage of time.

I've always believed in making and following my own philosophies

On my own principles, I've written the pages of my life's diary

Through life, I questioned them, evolved them, created my own personality.

Call me a rebel if you may

But normal was never my style in any way

I decided to create my own path

Life, keep throwing challenges, I called, I'm here to stay.

I learnt not to laugh at others when everyone else did

Take a stand for the right no matter how hard it may seem

I decided not to fake a smile

When everything isn't fine

It's perfectly okay to be sad for a little while.

I learnt to face the pain, dare the challenges

The day I put full faith in myself, I even created miracles

And whenever life seemed to pass by in a blur

I reminded myself, it was I who had the controller.

I've searched for answers, I've seeked the truth

I've found solace in creating my own identity, found contentment in poetryfying

Where I've dreamed the most courageous dreams

Loved the most selfless, true love throughout the realms.

I won't say, my life has been perfect

That I haven't committed mistakes, never harboured regret

I'll say I am the diver who dived -

Struggled and rose to the surface with hope with new found strength.

I am the bird who has flown the stormiest days

I am the artist who has visualised the most unrealistically angelic faces

I am the seeker who has been seeking the light ray

I am the surfer who has braved the highest waves

I am the human who has tried to live each day her way

You see, I am that dreamer who has dared to wander away

Into the world of her dreams and constructed there -

Brick by brick, the castle of reality itself.

Quote : Wake up from your dreamworld and face reality, they advise. I say - Stay right there and create reality in your own world of dreams.

There's not much difference between your dream and reality. Work hard to change your dreams into reality. Remember, you are in control of everything that happens in your life - make your dream happen. Don't wait for the last moment, set small term plans and goals, plan your journey, and set on it now.
