the ex

jack was currently out while you were home alone. he would be back soon so you decided to clean up a bit while you waited. you played some music while doing so and had a little dance to yourself. after doing the dishes and hoovering, there was a knock on the door. you and jack hadn't been expecting anyone but maybe one of the boys left something. slowly, you opened the door to see a woman around your age standing with a hand on her hip. "hello, can i help you?" you ask politely trying to not come off as rude. "erm, is jack here?" she asks giving you a glare. "um no, not at the moment. is there something you need?" the girl gave you another glare and scoffed. "i'm lauren (sorry if that's your name), jacks ex-girlfriend. i'm here to get him back" this isn't awkward at all. "oh well i'm his current girlfriend, y/n" you were trying to be really polite but it was really hard when this girl was being rude. "oh i heard about. not really that good looking are you. me and jack were perfect together" she says with a smirk. your eyes widen. stay calm. "oh well that's nice. i'm sure you were" the sarcasm was laced in every word. "what are you trying to say? that we weren't? i'm better than you" you roll your eye giving up the nice act. "look i get it. i'm ugly, your amazing. i understand you and jack were perfect but thats for him to decide if he wants to get back together. you seem very nice but i think you should go" she shrieks at your words. "excuse me?!! how dare you?!" she begins to walk in and you try and block the entry but she keeps pushing by. the brunette then jumps on and try's to attack you. you try your best to keep her off but she grabs a lamp beside you and raises it to wack it on you. just by luck, jack walks in and sees the scene in front of him. "lauren?!" but he's too late as the girl brings it down on your body and hits you with it. jack jumps up and grabs the 'weapon' and pulls lauren off as well. "what the hell are you doing?" jack asks as he grabs lauren's arm. "i'm here to get you back jacky. i'm better then that pathetic thing" she points to you and you just lay there in pain. "GET OUT!" jack yells pushing her towards the door. "what?! no! we belong together" just as she finishes, jack slams the door in the girls face. he then runs over to you and pulls you up. "are you okay love?" he asks as he caresses your check. you nod and sigh in exhaustion. he gives you look of concern. "i'm fine. just a bit shaken up" he nods and pulls you close. "what happened?" he asks and you start to explain. "i'm really sorry" "you shouldn't be, she's just a bit crazy about you" you both laugh and you spend the rest of the day in his arms
