When her heart stopped, she arrived in a room that was all white. Then, as if a door had been opened, Gus appeared. Gus walked towards her, looking as good as he did when they first met him and he was wearing a crooked smile.
"Took long enough Hazel Grace," he teased.
"Well, cancer doesn't work so fast on all of us," she replied smiling bright, closing the distance between them.
They walked into heaven, with no limp, no oxygen tank, no cannula and no cancer.
