So I've been thinking. Dean practically raised Sam right? he looked after him, cooked for him basically became his mother/father figure because John was always absent (and yes I say both on purpose). But what about when he was younger? Like at the very start when Mary first died. Did John leave them in a motel like when they are older? Or did he being them with him? Because all I can imagine is John walking around with Dean on a harness and baby Sam strapped to his chest, like in one of those baby harness things.
And they'd be sneaking up on a demon and all of a sudden baby Sam would start crying because he was hungry or something and John would be like
"Dammit Sam would you shut up!" and the demon would hear them and get away.
