You: (eating)

Chris: when my birthday comes I want to spend it in Atlanta.

You: (look at him) fly to Atlanta one day?

Chris: it's the Saturday after thanksgiving so why not?

You: this year was the year we were to spend Thanksgiving with Trey's family

Chris: again?

You: last year was with Auntie not Trey.

Trey: (walks in) Hey. (Looking at y'all)

Chris: hey. (Looks at you)

Trey: (Leans down to kiss you)

You: (kisses his cheek) dinner is still hot sit.

Trey: (sits down )

You: (get up and fix his plate)

Trey: how was school today?

Chris: good.

You: (look at the plate)

Chris: I'm trying out for basketball next month.

Trey: well we already know you made it.

Chris: (Laughs) there's over 200 boys in my school.

Trey: I'm physic.

You: (laugh then give him his food) if you're so physic tell me how the school will do on it's mock exams.

Trey: put you in the class they'll all exceed.

You: (laugh and kiss him then sit down)

Trey: mmm this looks good.

Meanwhile

Madison: (eating in the living room)

Candace:  you know Todd is transferring right?

Madison: what noooo.

Candace: his parents are moving. I mean come on he has one year left in school. Can't y'all just wai. (Looks up fighting the back tears)

Madison: (pouts a little) where too?

Candace : Clayton. That's like half an hour away.

Madison: I'm sorry Candace. If I could trade places with you. I would. In a heartbeat.

Candace: you and Sam at it.

Madison: (exhales) something like that. It'll blow over soon.

Candace: what happened? Tahj?

Madison (giggles) what do you mean Tahj???? Anyway no. He's just going through something that's affecting us and Asia claiming him as baby daddy isn't helping.
