(Living room)

You: okay Chres. What's your problem.

Chres: I don't know. I'll talk to my doctor after practice.

You: I don't think it's a doctor problem. You haven't been able to since I told you I was pregnant.

Chres: (exhales and sits up)

You: I don't turn you on anymore (look away)

Chres: what? Of course. In fact every time I see you. It's just when we're actually about to do it. All I think about is you having Trey's baby.

You: I thought you were okay with it?

Chres: I thought I was too. But then I think about it. And I'm not. This wasn't supposed to happen.  How do I be a stepdad?

You: yeah, I know. It was a Careless mistake. But Chres I'm not going to make you be a stepdad.

Chres: its not a choice. Look how you and Madison turned out.

You: I chose to look at Madison as if she was my own. You don't have to do anything for this baby Chres.

Chres: I'm not saying that. It's just what am I allowed to do. What if one day he gets old enough and tell me "you're not my dad" we fighting.

You: (laugh a little) you're not hitting my baby.

Chres: see. Is he my son? Do Trey want me calling him my son? What do he call me? And the biggest question is how long will your trips to Memphis be?

You: there won't be any trips to Memphis trey is moving to Atlanta once the baby is born.

Chres: great.

You: (looking at Chres ) great? That's all

Chres: horaay? You want me to be happy? Your ex fiancé and baby daddy is moving to Atlanta!

You: (walk away) if you want me to get an abortion just say it.

Chres: (following you) what? I didn't

You: (walk in the guest room and slam the door)

Chres: (sighs heavily)

25 minutes later

You: (walk in the room and put on lipstick)

Chres: (looks at you) where are you going?

You: out.

Chres: out where?

You: Nicki and Stacie. (Grab your purse and walk out)

Nicki's House

You: (walk in)

Nicki: heeey.

Stacie: (looking at you)

You: (smile a little) hey girls.

Stacie: what's the big news?

You: okay.  right to it?

Stacie: of course. we have our speculations.

Nicki: I say you doing it with Chres. Stacie says you're pregnant.

Your POV: well they're  both right.

You: (laugh and shake your head)

Stacie and Nicki: (looking at you) sooo?

You: oh. You're both right.

Nicki: (looks at Stacie then back at you) wait what?
