Thanksgiving Day

You: (on facetime) Hey Nicki. You answered. (Smile)

Nicki: Happy Turkey Day girl. (Rolls her eyes)

You: same to you. Wish I was somewhere else but here. I feel so out of place.

Nicki: i see why. You're on a freaking farm. They probably cooked Mr.flappy you fed yesterday morning.

You: (laugh) we okay?

Nicki: (smiles a little) Ray talking about I have to stop drinking.

Nicki: girl who? (Holds up a bottle)

You: (answer) Hey Happy Thanksgiving.

You: it's going. (Look back)

Brittany: get used to it. They're going to be family in four months.

You: (sigh) I know. I just can't wait to be back in Atlanta tomorrow.
