Our heads are wonderful things, one thing that I find particularly magnificent is the fact that your brain can sometimes cover up any injuries. If you don't remember it, chances are that you won't feel it!

Katie woke up. She was engulfed by darkness, only a faint tingling sensation on the middle of her back made her realize that she was facing reality. Her first thought was to stand up. No such luck came to Katie as her legs and arms were bound by rope to a chair. The rough wood of the chair made her back even more tingly.

She tried to speak but realized that her mouth was tapped firmly shut. She was stuck. Nothing was there that could of possibly helped her.

Suddenly a noise alerted her that someone was behind her. She didn't dare turn around, at first.

Katie's fainted.

Katie woke up. There was a slight light emanating from a window above her. She tried to stand up but realized that her arms and legs were bound to the chair that made her back itch. When she tried to open her mouth, yet again, she found it was tapped shut. There was that noise. She never turned around

She's glad of that as there was a mirror that clearly showed what the thing had done to her, the image of her mangled and decapitating back, you don't realize until you see it for yourself. Does your back tingle? Take a look! I dare you!
