It took me 30 minutes to get ready but I was finally ready for tonight
"Hey Tara are you ready because there is a car waiting outside for you!" Kat yelled up the stairs
"Yes I'm ready," I said coming down the stairs "How do I look?" I asked nervously because this was my first time hanging out with Christian alone after we broke up and I needed to have fun tonight to forget about Liam plus I mite have feelings for Christian still and I want to look good.
"Omg you look like a model"
"Yeah she's right you know" Ryan said walking into the room
"Thanks well I better get going" I said grabbing my purse and walking out the door
*At the bar*
"Wow" Christian said shocked
"What is there something wrong?" I asked nervously because he has never said wow before
"No there is nothing wrong it's just that you look wow" he said walking next to me to the bar
"Thanks" I said smiling walking to the bar
"So what do you want to drink?" he asked looking at the drinks
"I would like a beer"
"Really," he said shocked "Usually girls would never order beer"
"Well again I'm not other girls" I said sitting down at a table
"That's for sure" he said sitting down next to me
"I'm sorry that I ruined your day by spilling every thing to you about my life" I felt so bad for that. It seemed like he was having a really good day then I come along and ruin it
"It's okay I'm always here for you. I haven't had the best life for couple of months now" he started to look down. I knew something was on his mind and he wanted to let it out.
"What's wrong?" I asked grabbing a hold of his hand
"Well there is this girl that I've had a crush on since the first time I met her and then I blow it a year later then near the third year I told her how I felt and after that she left town the next day and came back with a boyfriend but now him and her are over. So I'm hoping I will have a third try at giving the relationship a go but I don't think she does"
Right after he said that my heart started to beat really fast and it started to skip at the same time. In that moment I knew he was talking about me and our relationship. I thought he didn't like me anymore but after what he said I knew that he still had feelings and was willing to do anything to get that third try.
"I think she would love to give the relationship another shot because I bet you that you make her heart race while skipping a beat at the same time" I said pulling away.
