Athena woke up for the start with slight discomfort in her abdomen. She groaned and wrapped her legs around the person next to her and felt their warmth relaxing her muscles. She buried her head into the crook of his neck and breathed in the familiar scent that was Damon Salvatore. He chuckled and she opened her eyes to slightly glare at the man. "You did this to me." She complained and the man smirked.
"I have no idea what you are talking about." He teased as the girl felt his lips over her cheek.
That's when her phone went off as she gasped. "Oh shit." She mumbled while quickly scrambling out of the bed and putting on clothes that were a mix of Damon's and her own.
"What?" Damon asked and the girl quickly fixed her hair into a bun and started heading out the door as Damon followed after her.
"I have to meet with Caroline and Bonnie." She mumbled and just before she could reach the door, Damon pulled her back and smirked.
"You're forgetting something." He stated and the girl furrowed her eyebrows only for her to smirk.
She kissed his lips and hugged him. "I love you." She told him and she quickly went out the door into her car and started it. Before she could do anything, her mind caught up on what she just did. Her eyes widened and she dragged her hands over her face. "I just said I love you." She said in surprise and she didn't know what else to do.
She drove to the Grill and found the seat where Bonnie and Caroline were as she sat down and tried to fix her hair. "So sorry I'm late." She mumbled and Bonnie smirked.
"Hit it off too hard last night?" She asked and the girl rolled her eyes.
"No, I'm sore." She whispered making Bonnie roll her eyes.
"Whatever, so what's the witchy plan you've been cooking up." Caroline asked wanting to get details.
"We still don't know the extent of what Elijah's up to." Bonnie said and Caroline leaned closer.
"No we don't." She stated back.
"So I'm gonna ask Luka to tell me what he knows." She whispered while Athena shook her head.
"And he's not gonna tell you anything." Caroline told her seriously.
"I didn't say he was gonna have a choice." And Caroline shook her head in confusion.
She then saw Matt head this way as she sighed. "What?" She asked and waved over at him, only for him to walk away.
"What was that about?" Bonnie asked in confusion.
"Yeah, aren't you playing husband and vampire wife together?" Athena asked.
"Uh, I don't know. I thought that we were-" She then stopped to give out a fake laugh, "I don't know." She mumbled.
Caroline got up and went to talk to Matt. Athena sighed and looked to Bonnie. "You'll be alright here right?" She asked and the dark skinned girl nods her head.
"I got the idea of what I need to do and I drained you so you are all good to go." She told her and she smiled.
"Thank you." She whispered and hugged her friend before she left.

Athena walked outside towards a bench and sat down while taking in her surroundings. She waited patiently as the man walked over to her and sat down next to her. She looked at him and sighed. "Elijah." She greeted and looked back in front of her as the man crossed his hands.
"Athena, what do I owe the pleasure?" He asked and the girl sighed while looking to the floor.
"You know a lot about my supernatural background. I have some questions." She told him and he nods his head while she rubbed the back of her neck.
"There is no way in stopping the transformation is there?" She asked and Elijah sighed while shaking his head.
"I knew the moment Jules arrived, it increased the risk of your werewolf side being activated. The problem is your vampire." He told her and she furrowed her eyebrows.
"Vampire? Shouldn't that be the easiest?" She asked while he shook his head.
"You being a powerful creature, the witches that are natural servants to the earth don't won't you alive." He told her while continuing. "To transform into a vampire you must die, and when a natural witch dies they see their ancestors. They decide if you are going to do great things or terrible things." He stated and she looked at Elijah.
"What if I do terrible things?" She asked and he sighed.
"You die." He told her and she took a shaky breath.
"I have another question." She whispered and held her stomach for this one. Elijah looked at her while she felt tears litter her eyes.
"Is it possible for something like me to get pregnant?" She asked and Elijah's eyes widened while he shook his head.
"No, no, That's impossible, Damon is a-"
"A vampire." She cut him off. "I know, that's why I thought it wasn't possible, but..." she stopped and opened her bag to reveal a box.
"Open it." She commanded and he did as he was told while he pulled out a little pregnancy test to show off a positive sign.
She looked at it and then back at Elijah. "I-I'm pregnant with a vampires baby." She whispered and Elijah shook his head.
"It's impossible, Athena." He told her and she shook her head.
"It can't be. There has to be a reason that we can procreate, because I would not be here if that's the case." She told him as he furrowed his eyebrows thinking about it.
The girl held her stomach and sighed. "I-I don't want to keep it, and I certainly don't need to have a child." She told him as Elijah looked at her.
"And why are you telling me this?" He asked and the girl grabbed his hand.
"Because I'm not going to kill it, but just replace the embryo into an expected mother. She'll have twins instead of just one, and I would like you to watch over him." She told the original as he took in this information.
"Him?" He asked and the girl nods her head.
"Him." She confirmed.
