It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

I couldn't help but giggle maniacally as Hoseok and I went over our plans. I appreciate the fact that I have a boyfriend who joins in my deranged laughter instead of looking at me as if I'm from Neptune. His sunshine-filled, slightly insane laugh made my heart skip a beat, and as per usual we ended up falling off of the couch and rolling around on the floor in tears.

My boyfriend, Hoseok... Yes indeed, four months had passed since, as Tracy likes to call it, "THE BEGINNINGS OF A FIERY LOVE," aka the time that she and the boys all conspired together to lock me and Hoseok in a storage room in an effort to get us to confess that we liked each other. Funny thing is, it worked. And there we were four months later, as happy and insane as could be. It had also been four months since Tracy was finally willing to open up to ARMY that she and V were dating. And just as I knew they would, ARMY not only welcomed their relationship with open arms, but grabbed them in a bear hug and haven't let go since. They love to watch the photo wars that Hoseok and I (whose relationship they have also wholeheartedly embraced) start with Taehyung and Tracy. We'll stalk each other around the dorms for days, looking for chances to sneak photos of the other pair doing something absurdly adorable and couple-like. Unfortunately, things usually end up in a tie.

Now, from what I've just told you, you might be thinking that Hoseok and I were in the middle of such a war. Alas, we were not. No, we were in the middle of something much more devious. I had spent a good chunk of my free time in the past four months plotting with Hoseok. For you see, I still owed a certain Jeon Jungkook some serious payback. And by serious, I mean serious. Yes, I know what you're all thinking. Jungkook is indeed a sweet, goofy child whom I am convinced is part blonde. But he's also the little heathen who locked me and J-Hope in a storage room together. I told him later that day that he would die, and I meant to carry through with my threat. So here I was, rolling on the floor laughing with Hoseok and coming dangerously close to having an asthma attack.

"I- I can't wait- to see him- to see his reaction- to- to all of this-" I gasped in between giggles. Tears flowed down Hoseok's face.

"He- He'll never know- what hit him!" he managed to exclaim. We spent a good ten minutes more laughing our faces off (mostly because every time we started to calm down, we'd look at each other or my phone and start up again) before finally calming down. With a sigh of evil contentment, I turned my head to look over at Hoseok. The affectionate look in his eyes made my insides melt into a pile of floof. He rolled onto his side and propped himself up with his elbow, the sweet smile on his face causing my heart to skip a beat. Can he possibly get any cuter? I thought to myself as he leaned down to kiss me. However, I was still in a very evil mood, and right before his lips connected with mine, I rolled away and jumped up onto the couch in one swift move. He looked up at me in shock. "Hey, no fair!" he said. I giggled and stuck my tongue out.

"Catch me if you can!" I said with a grin. A mischevious look that I knew all too well spread across his face, and I paled.

"If you insist!" he said.

Oh crud.

I jumped over the back of the couch and began to race through the dorms. I whizzed through the kitchen, nearly knocking Jin into the stove that he was cooking on.

"Sorry!" I hurriedly called over my shoulder. I heard him holler something about almost having Seokjin soup for lunch and couldn't help but laugh. I was just grateful that Namjoon wasn't in the kitchen at the time. That could've been disastrous... No, scratch that. That could've been the end of the universe as we know it. I continued to run down the hallway, speeding by where Tracy and Taehyung were sitting by a window, most likely cuddling and staring into each others' eyes as they gushed over how much they loved each other and kissed 3,904,810 times. When I had told Tracy that they should show a little more PDA, she didn't take it lightly. Pushing thoughts of my OTP aside, I came to a screeching halt and horror spread across my face as I realized I had made my way back into the living room. Before I could formulate a plan of escape, however, Hoseok tackled me into the couch from behind and began to tickle me mercilessly.

"HO- HOSEOK! HOSEOK! HOBI! J-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!" My pleas fell on deaf ears as he only laughed and tickled me even more.

"Are you gonna kiss me yet, or do I need to ask Tracy about other ways of torturing you?" he said with a mischievous grin. I was suddenly reminded of why Tracy was next in line on my revenge list. The little son of a booger...

"FINE! STOP HOSEOK! STOP! I'LL KISS YOU!" He finally stopped and we rolled off the couch and onto the floor with a thump, laughing once more. "I'll... I'll do it on one condition," I said, trying to catch my breath.

"And what might that be?" he said with a grin.

"Go Christmas shopping with me later," I replied.

"Christmas? Already? It's only the beginning of November!"

"You should know by now that anytime is a good time to go Christmas shopping. Besides, it's a part of our scheme." I batted my eyelashes and gave him the best puppy dog face I could muster. It wasn't as good as his, but it worked nonetheless.

"I suppose," he said with a smile that melted my heart.

"You've got yourself a deal sunshine," I said softly. My eyes fluttered shut, and the world melted away as he gently pressed his lips against mine, smiling into the kiss. However, our moment of bliss was interrupted by a giggle I knew all too well.

"Got it!" I heard Tracy whisper. Without even looking, I grabbed a throw pillow off of the couch and hurled it in the direction of the voice. I heard a dull thud and an "Oof!" followed by footsteps pounding down the hallway away from us. Through our photo wars, I had mastered the art of blindly throwing things at my best friend or her sweet baboo while kissing Hoseok. Let's just say... I got a lot more practice than I'd care to admit.

My boyfriend, Hoseok...

Yes indeed, I thought as he gently tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, life is good.
