It seems the smallest things can bring joy to your heart and it's not monetary things we crave, although they can be nice I won't deny.
As I write this, I am surrounded by my family on the outskirts of Paris, France and we are sitting around the dining table after finishing lunch. Being with your relations or friends and sharing special moments together always means so much. It is often the little things that stay in our minds for many years after, that we fondly remember and cause us to smile.
I have always felt, as do those close to me, that the heart of every home is the kitchen and the table we eat our dinner around.
Nothing beats sharing a meal and the stories that fill our lives, real or created with the people we care about.
When I was a child many problems were solved at my Grandmother's table by the end of the meal. I have always believed there is a special link with eating, talking and sharing that should never be underestimated. It makes connections in our brains and hearts that other things do not and creates an environment where we feel comfortable sharing ant talking.
