Epilogue

He was busy making sure everything looked great, fixing the cushions on the couch and making sure the photo frames are visible, Nick decided to have a get together for the first time, and everyone is coming down from back east.

Nick watched her from the distance of the kitchen, he couldn't help but smile as she ran around making sure everything is perfect, she has been going crazy the whole week, hearing him chuckle.

Her brown eyes turned to look at him, squinting them a little "why are you laughing?" placing her hand on her hip, only making her look more beautiful to his eyes making his way over to her "because I've never seen you this nervous" wrapping her his arm along her slim waist, sighing "I don't know how you're not nervous, my father will be here any minute it's the first time you'll come face to face with him after I ran away from New York to be with you" he began to think about it, and now his nerves began kicking in it has been three months, and even though Mr. Gomez has seen to come to terms with how things are over the phone, god knows what he might do once they're flesh to flesh.

Her giggle vibrated to his ears as he turned his attention to her now amuse face "it doesn't feel good being laughed at does it?" teasing him, he smile while he snaked his other arm around before tasting her lips and kissing her slowly, making it feel like their first kiss all over again as it was about to intensify the knock on the door made Selena jump and push him away "they're here!"

As soon as it open a loud girly squeal echoed through the house Taylor wrapped her arms around Selena towering over her "I missed you!" he just stood on the side, pulling away "I've missed you too!" as Selena turned her eyes squinted "Garrett?" confuse to see him, Taylor smiled widely "surprise!" interlocking her fingers with him "hey Selena" he greeted her "you two? Ah cute!"

"Uh babe, you should let them come in" Nick finally spoke, with a slight chuckle "oh right" as they did Mr. Gomez figure appeared, her face becoming serious as Nick's did as well "daddy" the old man stepped inside his face serious and quiet making everything awkward his eyes on Nick "sir" nodding his head at him, then his eyes shifted to Selena for a moment before shifting them back to him "you look happy and well, so I'm happy" finally smiling and bringing her to his embrace, Nick let out a exasperation sigh "Nicholas, good to see you too" shaking his hand and giving him a manly embrace.

She couldn't be happier "now we wait for your friends, and everyone will be here!" wrapping her arm along Nick's.

The loud sounds of guys horsing around echoed from the porch through the now silent house, "I think they've arrived" Nick grinned as he went to open the door. In front of him stood Logan, Joe, Zac, and Ian who all managed to abandon the old lifestyle; Logan stood tall in front of his best friend, something about his smile made Nick realize that he had amazing news. "I got it..." he mouthed to Nick while the other guys patted him in the back as they welcomed themselves in.

"Selena I may say, you have gotten more beautiful since I last saw you..." Logan smiled from ear to ear as he handed Nick his little surprise, "how about you leave Nick and come with me..." he joked as the other guys hit him in the back of the head.

"Dude..." Ian hissed still feeling awkward around Selena, they all did except Logan of course.

"What?! I'm just trying to break the ice, jeez" he laughed while looking over at a now nervous Nick, "hey Nick, did I tell you I got into UCLA" he beamed as the thought of finally making something out of his passion for film making rushed through his mind.

"That's amazing bro" Nick swallowed the hard lump forming in his throat, "I'm guessing we'll be seeing more of you around here, and what about you other idiots" he grabbed a hold of Selena's hand, enjoying the warm feeling that he seemed to get every time he came into contact with her.

The other guys went on to explain about the life changing experiences that have been hitting them hard, but at the end they have all managed to find something that made them happy and didn't involve the old lifestyle.

"Babe...the food is ready, let's take the guys to the backyard with the rest of the guest" her welcoming smile somehow relaxed all his friends as she led them to the back.

As she walked ahead, Nick couldn't help but smile lovingly at the sight of his girlfriend; the guys knew that this day would come but for Nick Jonas he never did see himself holding on to a tiny black box hoping that a girl this amazing would agree to spend a whole life time with him.
