She hurried down the street with sobs escaping from her not caring about the stares of the people around because in all honesty she didn't even realize what was around her at the moment; the only feeling in her bones is pain and her chest actually hurting every time she took a breath.

"Selena!"

She turned with her blurry vision, the only thing she saw was the blond hair coming her way and she knew it is Taylor finally enough close enough she clung onto her best friend tightly as more tears descended from her eyes, Taylor growing more worried "what's wrong Sel?" stroking her back.

"H-h he" she tried to speak, swallowing some air "I just want to go home" in one quick sentence she said Taylor nodded and they both made their way to her house as she continued to cry.

Its like the tears wouldn't run out she laid in her bed crying into her pillow, and everything still continued to play in her mind, he was Nick the leader of that gang of kidnappers and robbers, a criminal, figuring it all out he was only close to her to make sure she would say anything, no wonder he would always have to leave at sudden moments, and like a blinded fool she gave him all she had to offer.

Her innocence of a young girl that fell stupidly in love

"You have to tell me what happened?" Taylor said lowly "Nick and I...we broke up" Taylor gasped lowly "oh Sel I'm so sorry" sniffling "yeah me too".

"But why? You guys seemed fine and happy" she wish she could tell her why "we are just two completely different people, I had been fooling myself we are just not a good match" Taylor furrow her brows together "why does that even matter? as long as you love him, don't you love him?" Selena kept looking at her, does she love him? Even after finding out about the lies, and who he is.

Her heart ache at the thought of her saying no, assuring her that yes indeed she still loves him, like yesterday and the day before that, but it doesn't mean anything not anymore.

Without answering her questing she stood up grabbing her bag and pulling out the card from Julianna Marquez "what are you doing Selena?" grabbing her phone "I can't stay here anymore Taylor" wiping away the tears, the thought of getting away seemed perfect "what do you mean?"

"I'm going to go to New York" Taylor was about to say something but Selena already calling the number composing her breathing.

"Mrs. Marquez" she said "Its Selena Gomez" she stayed quiet as the lady greeted her "I'm calling about the offer..." taking a deep breath "my answer is yes, I'll take it".

The pain soaring through his body made it harder for him to hold back the tears that made it impossible for him to forget about everything happening in his screwed up life. If only she knew that today was going to be his last day as the Nick she feared and the beginning of a life he had planned out in his mind, but he also knew that's not the main reason why she was heartbroken; the lies that he made up were unforgettable, in her eyes the whole relationship was a lie while in his it was mere reflection on what he dreamed of.

He walked through the guarded gates and marched straight towards his father's home, "Nicholas what brings you here" his father stood in front of his desk while his gaze went from the papers in his hands to Nick's distant eyes.

"I quit..." not an ounce of fear coming from his voice, "I'm done with the jobs, I'm tired of living the life you threw me in; you can have the money, you can have everything...because I'm done" he watched as his father tried to control the anger rising inside of him.

"Leave, and don't come back Nicholas; you're such a disappointment to the family name" at this point those words were having no affect on him, he was angry at himself for taking this long to stand up against his father; "you're no longer my son".

"Good because you stopped being my father a long time ago" the venom in his voice made the slightest bit of emotion running through his father's veins hit him fast and hard, "goodbye Mr. Jonas".

He held his breath as he looked at his father's house one last time, he no longer had a connection to that man; he had finally broken free from his demands, the only thing he needs now is her warm embrace to let him know that everything is going to be okay.

The sound of the busy streets and loud laughter only reminded him of her sweet smile and innocent posture, he couldn't possibly go another minute without having her near him; he needed to find a way to gain her trust back, and proceed with the dreams that were cut short.
