"Tonight.." She repeated while biting her lip and looking over at  Taylor, who was nodding and mouthing out yes "Um yeah tonight sounds good."

Those simple words sounding like honey to him, "Let's meet up in front of the café around eight?" he continued.

"Okay, see you then."

Hanging up his face reflected back to him from the mirror reveling the big grin on his face, feeling giddy and excited to meet her  brown eyes again.

"What's up with you?" the grinned dropped as  he turned to his door, Logan leaning against the frame while biting into a sandwich. "Nothing," simply answering setting his phone down on his dresser.

"The guys and I were thinking strip club?" shaking his head. "You guys go ahead," his little date with Selena not being planned it's all him and the need to see her again.

"Are you serious?"

Walking pass him to the bathroom. "I have some individual business to take care of."

---
"Yes daddy I'm sleeping over at Taylor's." Her voice echoed through the phone , "Alright you girls make sure not to go anywhere."

Holding in a sigh, "I  promise, goodnight."

"You must really like this guy, lying to your dad and all."

Rolling her eyes, "Don't make me feel bad and regret this."

Taylor laughed.

"Here put this on," handing her a dark pink coat, "and put your hair up, just let your bangs and some hair strands lose just so he knows you put a little effort into it." She nodded and doing as she was told, this whole dating thing is new to her, even  though Taylor says she's a natural flirt.
----

The night cold  as he waited outside the café for her, looking over his shoulder every  time someone would walk by just a habit, he buried his hands in his jean pockets, his converse tapped on the concrete looking at the clock tower; ten minutes pass eight. His mind began to wonder, how about if she doesn't come?

"Nicholas," the sweet melody of her voice came in contact with his ears, turning back; his eyes taking in her pretty round face and pink cheeks and most of all her luscious brown eyes.

"I was beginning to think you weren't going to show."

Letting out a small laugh, "I wouldn't do that to you." Her plump lips forming that smile that has been printed in his mind.

"So what are we doing?" she asked.

"The night is cold but the moon is shinning; I was thinking we go for a  walk through the park and talk, I want to know more about you since you're a mystery to me."

She giggled, "Alright then let's get going so you can figure me out."

The walk along the cold pavement was silent;  their soft breathing resonated through the breezy air as they tried to keep their eyes from meeting. "You look pretty," Nick spoke quickly as his cheeks turned to a light red color. He was nervous; you must be a fool not to notice the sweat creeping from the corners of his face and the heavy breathing that parted through his lips.

"Thanks," she smiled as her eyes locked with his hazel like ones, "Are you  nervous?" Her soft giggles echoed through the dark stillness while noticing the way he tried to contain an uneasy smile from appearing on his face.

"Is it that obvious," his gaze dropped to the ground, trying to hide the embarrassment that quickly showed on his face.

Selena  put her hand upon his as she slowly locked her fingers with his warm welcoming ones, "Yes, but I find it cute." He smiled as the feeling from her simple touch sent a sudden spark of emotion through his flinty body; "Come on." She dragged him towards a bench that fit perfectly with the scenery of the park.

"How old are you?" her fingers slipped out of his firm grip.

Nick  looked down at his empty hand, her warm touch had disappeared sending a sudden burst of disappointment through his body; "I thought I was  suppose to ask the questions," he chuckled as he sat down next to her,  "I'm twenty two".

"Well what do you want to know?" she said with her sweet innocent voice.

He  couldn't help but notice the feeling that was forming in his stomach;  "I-I, do you...w-where..." her laughter soon resonated through the park, "Sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me." he bit his bottom lip out of  nervousness.

"It's okay..." she began as the sound of sirens echoing through the neighborhood caught both their attention. For Nick  it was part of his everyday thing to be in high alert, so the sound of  sirens quickly put him in a very uncomfortable situation; as for Selena  the sound of sirens only reminded her of the events that have left her uneasy with the real world.

"Are you okay?" Nick asked as he noticed the fear written all over her eyes.

She  nodded as she felt his warm hand wrap around her small one, "Yeah; I  just recently experience something traumatizing, that the little things only remind me of what I fear the most." She mumbled the last words slightly as Nick noticed the tears coming down from her eyes.

Her letting her guard down wasn't going to be easy, him feeling this guilt wasn't going to go away; the only thing that felt right were the  emotions he felt towards her.
