Soon the silence disappeared when the back door opened and the guys appeared "here you are!" Logan shouted "what the hell are you doing in here?" Joe added.

He let out another sigh of frustration "let's go" climbing all the way to the front seat, the guys got in the car "so the redhead totally was good" Logan and Ian shared a high five "I told you".

"How was the blonde ?" Zac asked Nick as he focused on just  driving.

"She had great knockers, I bet those were fun," Logan said as Joe agreed with him.

He blocked their comments because he couldn't even go with it as the girl threw herself at him his mind wouldn't stop picturing Selena, her cute laugh, those brown eyes that when he looks  into them they make his stomach twist with nervousness and excitement just picturing her flawless face.

As the girl pressed her lips on his, the heavy guilt took over him, he hated the fact that she  probably waited for him wondering what the hell happened, and that she is hurting because of him.

He felt a hard hit on his bicep, "what's up with you?" he looked away from the road for a second to shoot a deathly glare to Logan before turning back.

"I guess she wasn't good," he heard Logan whisper to the guys as he let out a chuckle annoying him even more.

When they finally arrived back at the house he quickly got out of the van slamming the door shut and hurried inside just wanting to get away from the guys being alone is exactly what he needs.

He laid on his bed doing exactly what he was doing in the van just staring at his phone screen but this time it had a text message he had written twenty minutes ago "I'm sorry that I couldn't make it, can I come see you?" it read, looking over at the clock already seven he finally made up his mind and just touched send, he sat up and he hoped that she will  replied every second that passed seemed like minutes till finally his phone beeped.

"I guess, but I can't stay out for long" she replied sending her another quick message he smiled to himself grabbing his  jacket and keys he hurried out without even acknowledging the guys that are sitting in the living room.

His mind was solely on Selena and getting to have her close again.

Selena sat patiently on the park bench as she tried to convince herself that meeting him here was just to talk and to give him a chance to explain,  nothing more can happen...she wouldn't allow herself, she would not put her guard down any longer.

"Hey..." his voice interrupted her many thoughts, "thanks for coming" he avoided any eye contact with her as he sat a couple of inches away from her.

Nick noticed the way she merely nodded and crossed her leg over the other, "I just came here  to see what you have to say for yourself" her sweet innocent voice was covered with a dark vulgar tone; "that's why you wanted to meet, right."

"Y-yea, of course," he swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat as he tried to think of a perfect excuse without fully lying to her, "S-selena, I'm so sorry" his nerves were getting the best of him,  they always did whenever he was around her undefined beauty.

"Is  that it...you don't have a pathetic excuse to why you had me waiting three long hours," she stood up frustrated, wishing she had the guts to tell him how much he had hurt her. "I really like you and I-I  foolishly thought you liked me too."

He didn't like seeing the tears that were creeping from the corner of her eyes, he hated the  feeling of seeing a beautiful girl cry over his selfish ways, "but I do like you, I like you so much that it empowers me." His hand tried meeting with her rosy cheek but was quickly rejected when she decided to step away from his touch.

"Don't touch me, please," she whispered harshly.

He  knew he had lost that trust he quickly gained, that wall she let down for him was now put up...making it hard for him to even ignore the pain he had managed to cause the both of them; "forgive me" Nick mumbled  while stepping back.

"I never meant to hurt you, but you must know; the guy you met in that café, that's the guy I dream to be and not the guy  who left you hanging because he was afraid  that these emotions that get stronger each waking moment would became a reality he isn't prepared to face," his words came out quickly as Selena tried to make sense of what he just confessed.

"I need to go," her gaze looked at the dark streets ahead of her.

"Let me walk you..."

"I guess," she shrugged as she started walking.

Nick tried walking behind her, he knew she needed this time to think and him being near her wasn't helping but he couldn't. He wouldn't let her walk  back home alone; if only he had the guts to tell her how much he missed her the whole day and how badly he regretted standing her up, but most of all how he realized that her being cold with him was slowly breaking the truth he had been running from.
