Min Soojin is a rising star in Seoul. She is the newest actress that everyone's talking about. So, when her manager asks her to start dating Kim Hanbin (obviously only for the publicity), she feels trapped. She starts hating him before she even meet...
The next evening, I step out into the living room and Jooheon's jaw drops. I blush and twirl in my little red dress, glad that I've made an impression. Still shocked, he walks over and pulls me close to him, giving me a light kiss on the lips before twirling me.

"You're going to be the best dressed one there, Soo. Really, you're beautiful."
I blush a darker shade of red and smile at him. ''Thank you, Joo. You look really classy in your suit, I'm glad you decided to wear it."
He smiles. "I know you want tonight to go well, so of course I chose to wear something nice. Besides, I've got to look better than Hanbin."
I roll my eyes as he chuckles. Then, he grabs my hand. I reach over and grab my purse from the kitchen bar before looking back at him. "Ready?"
He nods. "I'm ready."
"Then, let's get going." He holds my hand tightly, helping me keep balance in my heels as we head to the party.

We enter the front of the Lux Hotel and look around. An usher is waiting near the entrance. We walk over to him and Jooheon asks, "Excuse me, sir, which way is it to the gala?"
The usher points to a hall that leads to the right and we nod. Walking with our arms linked, I smile as Jooheon takes in the extravagance of the hotel around us. "It's beautiful isn't it?"
He nods. "This is where you two first met?"
"Yeah, I couldn't stop looking around at everything. It's so luxurious."
He smiles as we turn the corner and find a man guarding a doorway just down the hall. "I'm assuming that's the place."
As we near the man, he smiles kindly. "Hello, Min Soojin."
I raise an eyebrow. "You know me?"
He nods and bows politely. "I don't mean to be a nuisance, but you're my favorite actress."
I smile widely. "I'm glad to hear that. Thank you so much for being a fan."
He nods. "No, thank you. Enjoy the party."
He holds the door open for us and we both bow to him before slowly walking in. The lights in the ballroom are dimmed and give off a purple glow. There are balloons and streamers everywhere, the words 'Happy Birthday, Jihyun' written on most of them. I look at Jooheon questioningly.
"It's her birthday party?"
He shrugs. "She didn't mention that on the phone."
"Soojin!" I hear a voice call from the middle of the ballroom. There are people scattered throughout the room, blocking my view from seeing the person. Finally, I spot Jihyun waving at me. Beside her, Hanbin gives a small smile.
