As the night went on Jughead continued to drink and drink downing all sorts from punch to beer that had been smuggled in, when the formal began to end i was offered to go back to Cheryl's for an after party by Betty surprisingly but i refused explaining that i would have to take Jughead home due to him being intoxicated by irresponsible people spiking and smuggling drinks she just nodded and ran back Archie and Veronica where they headed back to Cheryl's. Alexa was actually grateful in a way that Jughead was drunk because it meant she got out of any drama that kicked off which was sure to happen it was Cheryl she was staring at Jughead and mumbled a thanks to him he replied with a loud response of "sure whatever , WAIT what for" she giggled and began the task of holding Jughead up by wrapping his arm around her neck and hauling him to her car which wasn't far away
it took around 10 minutes to get the tipsy beanie wearing boy into the backseat of her car and began to ponder where she was going to take the now passed out boy she had three options 1.the drive in where he could be unsupervised which would be irresponsible 2.her house which her mom would never approve of even in his state which left one more place his dad's trailer she considered her options before deciding the last one she already knew where his dad lived but only because he had told her a while back and she had gone there quite a few times as a kid also her memory was pretty good so she began her 20 minute drive to the sunny-side trailer park. when she arrived she looked around to familiarise herself with her surroundings to see if she could remember the number of the trailer
then it hit her she remembered the green truck Jughead's dad had driven her home in before and she instantly knew it was Fp's trailer and got herself out of the car before retrieving Jughead from the back seat where he had now gained consciousness just barely so she again lifted the boy's arm around her neck and headed up the wooden stairs where thankfully the lights where on indicating that Fp was in and up ,she checked her phone to see the time was 2:30 in the morning and also saw she had missed calls and texts from her mom she decided to ignore them for the moment and put her phone back in her clutch bag while still trying to hold up Jughead
Before they could reach the door to the trailer Jughead began raising his voice saying things such as "I LOVE YOU LEX" or reciting lyrics from songs she hushed him just long enough for her to knock on the door not long after she had knocked she heard glass bottles hitting each other and a few groans before the door slowly opened and she heard him say "who the hell could that be at this time" he looked up from rubbing his eyes he had obviously been asleep but quickly became awake when he saw who was standing in front of him he looked at Alexa who was on the left his gaze seem to linger on her for a few seconds then saw the state his son was in
"what happened" he questioned while opening the door wider for the girl to struggle in with the limp body basically hanging from her she walked him over to the couch she had spotted when she had first walked in she put him down him and he had now gone from sitting to flat out lying down she untied his shoes and stood up and turned to Fp to explain what had happened
"your son drank A LOT of alcohol at the school dance all because some stupid guys spiked all of the drinks there and i thought that this was the most rational option seeing as he would be alone at the drive in and my mom would never allow him at my house so here we are" he looked at her taking in her perfectly shaped facial features and responded by saying " wow that really doesn't sound like Jughead at all and if i may ask why didn't you stop him from getting this bad also may i ask who are you are you new to town or something" as soon as he said that her jaw dropped and she snapped " oh my god you don't even remember me also even if your son is my best friend i shouldn't be responsible for him and i couldn't stop him even if i tried" he glared at her and a smirk crept on to his face "listen sweetie i've been drunk way to many times to remember any of Jugheads friends so please introduce yourself" she began to walk out of the trailer straight past the tall figure, nothing but silence filled the room apart from the odd stir from Jughead. Fp just stood there staring as she walked out but just as she was closing the door she said "by the way Mr Jones it's me Alexa Thompson its nice to see you again" and with that the door was shut and Alexa left with the biggest smirk on her face which stayed stuck there from when she left the trailer park to when she got in to her car until she drove all the way home and even before she was falling asleep only then did she stop meanwhile ... Fp was stood there so shocked he had to sit down to take in the information he had just received but then he began to smirk at the thought of the young girl and had the thought that he felt a feeling he had felt before which was when he met Jughead's mom and knew from that moment he had to see more of this girl so he had the idea of going through his son's phone until he came across the contact saying 'Alexa my bestie' he then proceeded to save the number into his own phone before going to bed thinking of the girl who had just changed his life
