(first of all shout out to ma gurrlll L who put together a sweet ass new cover for this book which i will be updating after this chapter is published but i just wanted to give her some recognition because she seriously did an amazing job much better then i could've done but anyway i always say this but now on to the reason your here the book:)))))
the next day was the one where all the rushing and running began because a few days from then it would be Christmas and currently Alexa and jughead sat at the kitchen table eating while Fp was getting ready for a serpent meeting at some point during that day but Alexa on the other hand decided that she would still attend school so got up and ready jughead was the one to begin the conversation and create some confusion for Alexa
"I was thinking about our Penny problem" Alexa choked on her cereal and looked at jughead then Fp "what penny problem?" Fp lifted his foot and tied his shoe lace as he kissed Alexa's cheek "its nothing its My problem, not ours." to which jughead replied "Well, I am the one she has on camera delivering drugs." Alexa spat out her water "what the fuck jughead why wasn't i told about this " she stood up with such force that the chair hit the wall as she tried to storm out but Fp grabbed her arm and pulled her back "hey How I deal with Peabody is not your concern. I'm handling it." she huffed and and pulled her arm away " no fuck you Fp i was running your fucking gang and you don't have the decency to tell me your running a drug trade for penny peabody " then jughead butted in "By pimping the Serpents out as drug runners?" Fp had grown aggravated by his son and shouted " Boy!" just as tallboy came in the door with two bags
Alexa had stormed out the door muttering under her breath as she walked to school just as the bell sounded she walked to her class and sat down next to toni and faced forward but toni whispered to her because she could see how heavily her friend was breathing "hey you ok you seem tense " she looked at her friend and replied sighing "yeh its just Fp had me pissed off about something" toni cocked head to the side "what about?"she looked at her friend "he didn't tell me about the penny problem" she nodded and turned back and carried on with the lesson until lunch came
she approached the usual table she sat down and looked around "so sweet pea?" he turned his head from talking to fangs "yeh?" "did you know about the penny problem?" he shrugged "well yeh everyone knows about it because of jones" she huffed and stood up looking she was about to kill someone and stormed to the school newspaper room pushing the door almost off its hinges
jughead jumped as she came up to him and shoved him "what the hell jughead?" he looked puzzled "you know what, you knew everything about penny and this whole problem that your dad specifically asked you not to do but better yet you didn't tell me what was happening and i was running the place while your dad was in shankshaw so what gives?" he sighed "i did it because i wanted to surprise you with my dad getting out" she slumped into a chair with her head in her hands "i know you meant well but i would've at least liked to have known something anyway what did she have you do?"
he looked down and replied "she had archie and i delivering pancake mix to greendale" he used air quotation marks as her eyes widened "she had you dealing drugs to greendale she is gonna have karma on her ass by the time shes done" she rolled her eyes as she stood and brushed out her skirt "we'll sort this out later but right now have to talk to Fp but for the love of god jughead please don't follow anymore of her orders " he nodded as she walked out and waited out the rest of the day at school then heading straight to pops where she knew her partner would be
she sat down in a booth and waited to get served and by some miracle Fp was the one taking her order he asked her what she wanted and she replied bluntly "fries and a milkshake" he looked at her and said "whats the magic word" she huffed and looked at him wit a smirk "fuck you" he raised a brow "we'll try that again when your not acting childish" she looked up shocked as she crossed her arms over her chest "forget it she said as she went to walk out but he grabbed her arm"we need to talk so go sit your ass down and i'll be over in a minute" she did a she as told and thats when everything began to seem as if it was starting to slowly piece itself together and maybe just maybe things could go back to the way they were before but of course there would be some complications along the way
(so sorry for not updating and i keep apologise enough for not being very active its just i've been spending time with family and its only just caught up to me:)))
