I haven't said a word to anybody in a whole week

I barley ate, and slept

The only thing I kept wondering is why am I still here?

India has been comming here after school every day this week. she says I'm the talk of the school.

Some people think I'm an attention whore.Some people feel sorry for me. she says Josiah my partner got a new girlfriend.She tells me Everytime she sees him she wants to stab him in the balls.If I wasn't depressed and upset I would laugh but right now my heart can't take any humor.

I know I gotta go back to school Monday and today is Friday.

The nurse opens the door and young black family walks in

The nurse follows in.

"Tony this is the Mayson family.There going to be your adoption family." the nurse greets them to me

I analyzed the two.

"My Name is Tiana and this is my husband Ethin and were very grateful to meet you ms.tony" she says

I wanted to speak but I'm still traumatized by what's happened and what's happening.

Everything feels so fast and rushy.

Only been here for a week and I'm being adopted.

"You'll get to meet the rest at home" the man says

I changed out the hospital gown and into my regular clothes

They signed some type of papers and we headed out.

The car ride wasn't so bad, there good people.

We pulled up to house that looked kinda like a trap house.

It wasn't what I expected but I know this was the hood.

I can tell.

I watched ghetto hoochy girls walked down the street, guys standing at the end of the block blasting there music,and other things to that nature.

"Come on honey" mrs.mayson says.

I walked into the house with the smell of fried chicken,which made my stomach go ballistic

I looked around at how nicely furnish the house was. on the outside it could use some remodeling but it was really nice inside.

"Mom" mrs.mayson called

"In this kitchen ooooh child it's so hot,Tiana why you put a lock on that got danm AC! I swear you just wanna see your mom in her grave trying to burn me up you know I'm old, hell 68 and you keep on leaving that AC on lock....." the old woman rambled on as we stood by the door

She finally stops talking and turns around and smiles but didn't have no teeth which wasn't really a sight to see.

"Oooooh she so pretty, hi honey pie ! I'm Judy Mayson but call me grandma jay, oooh you so bony, ooooh I gotta out whip out my corn bread and collard greens for you skinny behind" she laughs

I have her a weak smile

"Mom this is Toniyah, we adopted her" mrs.mayson says

"Well welcome to the family tonisha, like I said I'm grandma jay , and anything you like to eat I'll whip it up for you, and Tiana go turn on that AC good lawd!" she rushes mrs.mayson
