part 28

i pulled out my phone and called mahogany

she told me they had been stopped by some fans in the lobby, so we headed down there.

almost 50 girls were crowded around the boys, talking and taking pictures with them. 

the girls saw us coming down and looked over at us. 

"sam!" they called out, running over to us. 

"are you guys dating?" one of them asked

"no" i laughed

"oh my god, youre brooke!" another girl exclaimed

i nodded, "how do you know me?" 

"everyone knows you," another girl chimed in

the girls were so sweet. all but 3 or 4 of them asked me for a picture and some of them even asked me to follow them. so i did.

"this is crazy," i said out of breath. i was on sams lap sitting down in the gym room in the hotel. the fans chased us all over, leading us into here. the security was working on making it safe, but they said it would take a while

"i know." carter panted

"you guys deal with this every month?"

they nodded, "more than that." nash said

i shook my head, "how do you do it?"

'it can be hard sometimes but they all mean well." mahogany assured me

"they're all extrememly nice, i dont know why you guys warned me about them." i told sam and mahogany

"you'll see. tomorrows the event." taylor told me

"im so excited" i said nuzzling up to sam. he snaked his arms around my waist and locked his hands right under my chest.

"me too," he told me

the next day, we had to be awake by 6. i quickly threw on my urban high waisted jean shorts and a black crop top with my vans and followed everyone down to the room where the event would be held. they were setting up, and apparently were doing soundcheck and rehearsing flights, distance, paradise, buckwild, and shawns cover of summertime sadness. 

we all gathered around the stage watching the boys sing, and after they were done mahogany set up her table and put up her magcon playlist. 

she turned on lipgloss and the sam grabbed my arm pulling me up with him and the rest of the boys quickly followed

we all started with the ligloss dance, and then hayes and nick swenson walked over to me teaching me the dance to "nae nae" and mahogany changed it to that song. 

we were all dancing and laughing hysterically until bart walked in. the boys stopped immediately and mahogany paused the music. bart told us we needed to let jack jack taylor dillon shawn and jacob keep rehearsing.  

we all sat down as we watched jacob make his way to the chair with his guitar

around 4, the boys got into their positions by meet and greet tables and mahogany started playing music. they started letting people in.
