A'lyric walked up to O'shea with her phone in her hand. She wore a track suit, Versace slides and her hair was up in a bun.
You might think she spent her time putting together that outfit but she really just threw everything on. "Hey." O'shea looked at her frowned up face.
"What's up?" He asked. Lyric scoffed. "Don't what's up me.... why the hell were you ignoring my texts?" She asked. O'shea licked his lips. "Look calm down aight-"
"No, I will not calm down.. tell me." She pushed. "My parents know alright?" Lyric's face fell. "W-what?" She asked. "They know about us." "I know that just.. how the hell do they know?"
She squinted her eyes trying to understand all of this. "My moms thought my dad was cheating because the box of condoms were gone."
"And let me guess.. you confessed." "Well yea, what was I supposed to do?" He asked. "Keep your mouth shut? Now my parents might know." She said.
O'shea frowned. "And let my parents get a divorce for something I did? I think the fuck not." Lyric folded her arms. O'shea scoffed.
"And you don't give a fuck right? That's what you're thinking?" Lyric was silent. "At first I thought I could put up with your attitude but now I'm done. All you think about is yourself and it's not cute ma."
Lyric frowned. "Everybody was telling me about how much of a bitch you are but did I listen to them? No... why you ask? Because I can actually see the good in you but really you ain't shit."
O'shea slammed his locker shut then brushed past her. She knew she was losing the three important people in her life. Normally she'd be like I don't give a fuck. But his words got to her.
When third period rolled around Lyric was alone for the experiment, everyone partnered up except for her because Taylor wasn't there today.
"Okay.. who wants to be Ms. Wright's lab partner?" Mr. Johnson asked. Half the boys and even the girls raised their hands. Lyric shook her head.
"You're quite popular Ms. Wright... how about you O'shea? Would you like to join her?" O'shea looked up and frowned. "No." "Too bad, come on."
O'shea groaned and gathered his things. He took the empty seat beside Lyric and didn't even bother to look at her.
"Today we'll be working on the packet before we do the lab, also I'll be sending home a sheet stating that you can participate in the lab and that you're not allergic to anything, after we'll be taking a test for lab procedures.. do you all understand?" Mr. Johnson asked.
"Yea." Everyone mumbled. "Good, grab a packet in the middle of the table and start." Everyone did so and wrote their name at the top right corner.
Lyric glanced up at O'shea who acted like she wasn't in the room. Lyric sighed. "Can we talk?" She asked. O'shea ignored her. "O'shea."
Lyric poked his side with her pencil and he moved his hips. She knew that was his spot. "I'm really sorry." She whispered. "I don't care." He mumbled.
Lyric frowned. "But-" "You can't force someone to forgive you, you have to earn their forgiveness." He said. Lyric nodded. "Well.. have I earned your forgiveness?"
"Nope." Lyric groaned. "I know what I said was dumb a-and selfish.. why can't you believe me?" She asked.
"Because you could say anything right now and I wouldn't believe you.. what if you just want some dick since that's all I'm good for." He mumbled. Lyric's face turned into a complete frown.
