"Did it hurt?" Ej asked Maceon. Maceon nodded. "Hell yea man, worst feeling ever." Maceon mumbled.
The kids were all over Maceon's hospital bed talking his ears off. Lyric was too busy on her phone and they haven't spoken a word to eachother.
Maceon looked up at his little sister and licked his lips. "Lyric?" She looked up at him and raised a brow.
"You need something? You thirsty?" She asked. He shook his head. "Nah, I just wanted to apologize.. I should've listened to you."
"Oh." She shrugged. "It's fine." "No it's not, I never should've said what I said when you're trying to change." Lyric was silent.
"Apology accepted." Maceon smiled. "I didn't want to miss your first game but." He looked down at his cast.
"O'shea records all of my practices and he's gonna record my game so." Maceon nodded. "Y'all getting pretty serious huh?" He asked.
"Yea, everytime they get on the phone they always say they love eachother.." Dominick scrunched his nose up and everyone laughed.
"Yea she gets on my nerves." Erin commented. "Nobody cares Erin." Lyric told her. She rolled her eyes.
Naomi and Eric walked through the door with bags in their hands. "Yayy!" The kids shot up so they could get their food.
"Here, you gotta eat before the game." Naomi said handing Lyric a burger. Lyric shook her head and looked at the time.
"O'shea already got me some food and I have to go anyway so I can warm up for the game." Naomi frowned.
Lyric grabbed her things. "I'll see y'all later." She mumbled. "Bye!" The kids yelled as she left. Naomi sighed and gave the extra burger to Maceon.
Lyric smiled when she saw the tray of Chinese food O'shea bought her. "Thanks Shea Bear." She cooed kissing his lips.
"No problem baby, how's Maceon?" He asked. "He.. apologized to me today." She said. He raised a brow.
"But he's fine, you can probably see him after the game." O'shea nodded. Lyric chewed her food and looked at him. "You okay?" She asked.
"I'm straight." He lied. Lyric poked his side and he sighed moving his hips. "Stoopp." Lyric laughed. "Tell me."
"What are we gonna do for college?" He asked. Lyric frowned.
"What college you wanna play for?" He asked hoping it was a college in California. "I was thinking about OU." She said.
O'shea furrowed his eyebrows. "Oklahoma University?" Lyric nodded.
"Well yea, I know it's far away but their team is amazing and I love their football team." She said. "So you want to go all the way to Oklahoma?"
Lyric nodded. "Yes." O'shea nodded. "If I don't get accepted their then it's either LSU or USC." She looked at him. "What about you?" She asked.
"..You know I gotta stay in California if I wanna do this acting shit." Lyric was silent. "So what are we gonna do?" She asked.
He parked the car and sighed. "I don't know."
After Lyric ate a little bit more of her food they went their separate ways.
Lyric walked to the locker rooms to get changed along with everyone else.
"I need teamwork okay? Don't be no ball hog understand?" Coach asked. "Yes couch!" Coach nodded and clapped her hands together.
Lyric knew she was gonna be on the bench for maybe the first quarter since she was new and all. When the game started they were losing terribly.
"What the hell! Wilson! You're out!" Coach yelled. She sighed and sat down and folded her arms.
Lyric locked her fingers together when she heard Coach say her name. "Wright." Lyric stood up and jogged over to coach. "You're in." Lyric frowned.
"Really?" "Yes now go." Lyric swallowed hard and took her place on the court. She looked up and didn't even see her family there but only O'shea.
She smiled and paid her attention to the reff. When the ball was tossed in the air the other team had it.
Number 23 had the ball in hand and signaled to their team mates. Lyric watched her closely and was about to snatch the ball as soon as she passed it.
When Lyric thought she was gonna pass it to number 4 she ended up giving the ball to number 11. She knew this team was good.
Lyric sticked number 4 while she tried to snatch the ball out of her hands. "It's too late y'all are gonna lose, just give up."
She told Lyric. She smacked her lips. "How about stop talking so much and play?"
She frowned and Lyric smacked the ball out of her hand and ran down the court. The crowd started going wild as Lyric passed the ball to Marisol.
Marisol made her way half court while Lyric was still aiming at the rim, Marisol passed the ball to Lyric and she jumped up and made a point.
Lyric smiled and Marisol gave her some dap. "You not that bad after all." Lyric smirked and shook her head.

"I'm already sore and you just made it worse." Lyric said getting out of O'shea's bed. He sucked his teeth.
"My bad." Lyric smiled and grabbed his hands. "Come get in the shower with me?" She asked trying to pull him up.
He finally stood up and they walked in his bathroom. She cut water on hot and stepped in. O'shea held one toe up and touched the water.
"Oh hell no, fuck you trying to do? Boil noodles?" He frowned. Lyric laughed and cut the water down a little.
"Happy?" He touched the water and nodded. "Yea." Lyric grabbed his hands and pulled him into her. He was a giant compared to her and she loved it.
"We're not gonna talk about it?" He asked ruining the moment. Lyric sighed and looked up at him. "Do we have to now?" She asked.
"I'd rather talk about it now then have to at the last minute." Lyric sighed. "Okay, fine." She mumbled.
"I really want to go to OU.. but if I get a scholarship at USC I'll go there."
"I'm not asking you to give up your dream college." O'shea told her. "I know..but that's only if I don't get accepted to OU."
O'shea nodded. "Alright." "I know we love eachother and if we end up having to do long distance then I'm all for it." Lyric shrugged.
O'shea gave her a small smile. "Me too." He said but he wasn't sure.
