"How was school?" Lyric smiled and watched Mila get in her car. "It was okay." Mila mumbled pulling her phone out.

Lyric closed the door when she heard someone call her name. "Ms. Wright?" She turned around and saw Mila's teacher. "Yes?" She asked.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" She asked folding her arms. "Uh." Lyric turned around and locked her car doors. "Sure." Mrs. J sighed.

"First I wanted to say that Mila is a wonderful girl, she's very intelligent for her age." Lyric smiled. "Thank you." "She does all her work on time or early but she's been lacking a little."

"Like?" Lyric asked. "She does her homework and everything but it's how she is with class work...she doesn't get enough sleep and she doesn't have time to do the work."

Lyric furrowed her eyebrows. "I understand you both moved up here and she's around new people but I don't think it's about the change." Lyric frowned.

"You think it's something wrong at home?" She asked. "Yes." Lyric scoffed. "There's a parent teacher conference this Friday."

"Alright,I'll let her father know." "Okay." Lyric walked back to her car and started it up.

"So for now on your bedtime is nine and I want both your tablet and phone in my room after dinner." Lyric said. Mila frowned. "What?" "Yea."
"But-but that's not fair." She whined.

"Life isn't fair Love Bug, you can't be falling asleep in class and barely doing your work..whats wrong with you?" Lyric asked looking at her through her mirror.

Mila poked her bottom lip out and sniffed. "Nothing." "Baby just tell me." Lyric sighed and Mila shook her head.

"I just want to go home okay?" Lyric nodded. "Okay." Lyric looked back at Mila then back at the road. She took her to dance practice then went straight to the studio.

Meanwhile, O'shea watched as Jesus,Courtney's father pour them a drink. "Courtney told me you were in a big movie last year..what was it called?"

Jesus asked. "Straight Outta Compton." He nodded. "Are you from Compton?" Jesus asked. O'shea shook his head and grabbed his drink.

"No I was born and raised here in LA." "And your parents..what do they do?" He asked.

"My father was a rapper and he is now and actor just like me and my mother takes care of us and help me out with my daughter."

"So your mother only spends your father's money?" He asked bluntly. O'shea raised a brow and tried to keep his cool.

He shifted in his seat

He shifted in his seat. "My mother is very well educated and she has her own money." O'shea corrected him. Jesus nodded.

"I'm sure she is,so you have a daughter." "Yes." O'shea answered with clenched teeth. "How old is he?"

"She's seven." "And how are you and the mother's relationship?" O'shea sat his drink down. He didn't like how personal he was going.

"I know it's personal but I only want to know if you're worthy of my princess..you'll understand that when Mila gets older right?" He asked.

O'shea frowned. He never told him Mila's name. Maybe Courtney told him. He thought. Nah. He cleared his throat looking at the time.

"Sorry I gotta cut this short but I have to be somewhere, and we're looking at houses today." Jesus nodded and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Santiago." "You too,and please, call me Jesus." O'shea gave him a fake smile before he left.

"You can take a break now Naija." Queen Naija nodded and sat back taking a seat. Lyric pulled her phone out calling O'shea's phone.

It rung for a couple of seconds before he finally answered. "Yo?" "O'shea we gotta talk." O'shea sighed.

"Is it about last week?" Lyric shook her head as if he could see her. "No,it's about Mila..something is going on with her and she won't talk to me about."

"What's wrong with Mila?" O'shea asked frowning up. "I don't know,I talked to her teacher and she said she falls asleep in class and barely does her work."

"Well what you got her doing over there?" He asked. Lyric rolled her eyes. "I'm telling you she's fine over here." "It doesn't sound like it." Lyric clenched her teeth.

"Look,we ain't never had this problem before so if you want to figure out what's wrong with our child you need to get off of your ass." O'shea frowned and Lyric hung up in his face.

"That sounded heated." Lyric looked up and smiled a little when she saw Luke. "Hey." Naija walked out of the studio.

"I gotta pick my son up but I'll be back first thing in the morning." Lyric nodded and watched Naija leave.

As soon as she did Luke pulled Lyric ontop of her and smashed their lips together. Lyric pulled away and raised a brow. "You know we can't do this here."

Luke groaned. "Who cares?" "I care, mycareer, image, artists, label." He frowned. "Just not right now alright?" She asked. He gently pushed her off of him.

"I don't wanna sneak around anymore." "I know-" "Then let's stop, I want to be able to take you out on a date." "We just can't." Luke sucked his teeth.

"Aight." He stood up and Lyric sighed. "Are you leaving?" She asked. "Yea imma see you later boss." Lyric frowned and he walked out slamming the door in the process.

"I love this fireplace..owe and the backyard." Courtney smiled wrapping her arm around O'shea's. "The backyard is very big,big enough for a guest house." The realtor said.

"Owee." Courteny smiled. "How much is it?" O'shea asked. "It's only two million." O'shea frowned. "We'll take it!" Courteny blurted out.

O'shea looked at her like she was crazy. "Hell no." Courtney frowned. The realtor looked at them both.

"I'll give you two a minute." She walked off and Courtney looked at O'shea. "What do you mean no?" "Like I said..no." Courteny groaned.

"Fine do you want to split it?" She asked. "No,we can go look for another house or get a condo or something." Courteny pouted.

"We can't be spending all this money if we're getting married." "Fine whatever." She rolled her eyes and walked out of the house. O'shea took a deep breath wondering if he made mistake.
