Chapter 17

Gabi's *POV*
The award show just finished, and me and Dani are laying on the couches in the living room cause we are practically dying of exhaustion. I look at myself and I decide to post a picture of the after math.

I decide to go up to my bedroom because well it's late at night and I need a shower. Once I finished showering I decided to have Daniella braid my hair so I went and got her, "Hey Daniella, can you umm please braid my hair I really don't wanna do it cause I'm exhausted and I really don't wanna do it my self" she laughs and says "Okay calm down I get it I'll braid your hair".

Now I know what your thinking "Did you get changed?" The answer is actually no I walked in there with a towel on, I mean what's the issue we are both girls. Anyway this is what I'm wearing

I know I love them too. I decided to call Derek in so we could talk. He came in and started laughing and he said "Those are the best pajamas I have ever seen" I smiled and said "I know right" he smiled and said "Anyway what do you wanna talk about also can I get a selfie cause I really need  a follower boost?" I laughed and said "abusing the fact I have more followers huh, but yeah I'll help ya and to help you out even more I'll post it and tag you while I'm at it" he smiled and I took out my phone so we can take a selfie.

Once I posted it I said "So let's lay down and talk" so we did and I said "Well Derek, I miss my best friend that isn't Dani, Steven, or Ryan.....actually you are more of a father figure to me than anybody so I miss the man who practically raised me I mean your getting married and you have 3 kids now so tell me about it." He sighs and says "Well it's very stressful cause well James and Wesley are only 3 and I know it's gonna get harder as they get older and Jacob isn't even one yet so it's obviously hard raising him and with the wedding it's obviously hard cause planning it comes with arguing and all that stuff but I'm happy you know, so what about you?" I had to think for a little bit "Well I'm doing great I mean me and Sean just got together and I'm honestly so happy and that's really all I have to say about myself" he nods and I smile at an idea I have so I yell "JAMES, WESLEY CAN YOU PLEASE COME IN HERE?!" Derek smiles at my idea and says "When are you gonna have kids Gabi?" Wow that's a good question but I shrug and say "Well I honestly don't know but I'm probably not gonna have kids until after I graduate high school" Derek smirks and says "Well you graduate high school this year" before I can respond to that James and Wesley come running in smiling like dorks(picture on top). They both jumped onto the bed and hugged me and James said "Where have you been Aunty?" I smile and say "Me and your Uncle Dani were hosting at an award show" Wesley looks at me weirdly and says "What's an award show?" Before I can answer him Derek says "You can learn about it later." Wesley nods and I say "You two are too cute" then James says "Well we do have the same face" this causes both me and Derek to laugh but it doesn't seem to' fase them. Out of no were Wesley says "Aunty can you help us go to bed" James starts jumping up and down at the idea and says "Yeah you haven't put us to bed in a while" I smile about to say yes but once again Derek beats me to it and says "No boys your Aunty has to be very tired right now" I interrupt whatever he was gonna say next and I say "Actually I would love to help you get to bed come on" and with that me and the twins get up and walk to they're room, they actually let me pick out they're pajamas so for James I chose

cause I honestly think that these are like pretty cool plus me and James share an un-dying love for Star Wars, and for Wesley I chose

cause they are honestly kind of funny and we both love soccer and are favorite player well he's retired but he was a soccer player so it counts and that's David Beckham.

I just tucked both of them in and I'm about to walk out the door but Wesley calls out "Wait can you sing us a song?" I smile and say "Of course Honey, is that okay with you James?" He nods and I think of a song for a minute and I start singing "Stand By Me" by Ben E King

And once I finished singing they were both just about to fall asleep so I quietly turn off the lights and leave the room once I get into my room Derek is long gone so I take off my unicorn slippers and put them next to my bed, then I tuck myself in bed, get comfy, and fall asleep.
