[SPECIAL CHAPTER] VOIDEN and VEINOD

"Are you guys ready?" Tanong ko sa kambal na naabutan kong nagpapacute sa harap ng salamin. "Yes dad!" Sabay nilang sagot.

"Let's go?" Saka ko inilahad ang dalawang kamay ko sakanila. Pero imbes na ilahad rin ang sakanila ay hinila nila ako at binigyan ng yakap.

"3 years of our life, where the day and months of our lifes that was full of longing for you dad. And now we're complete. Thank you for giving us everything. We love you dad"

Bago pa ako maiyak ay niyakap ko nalang sila ng mahigpit. "I love you too, babies" saka ko sila binigyan ng kanya kanyang halik sa noo. "Let's go downstairs?"

"Okay but wait where's mom?" Asked Voiden. "In the cemetery." Sagot ko naman and this time Veinid was the one who ask. "What is she doing there? Anyways fetch her first, i will not go downstairs without her."

"Me too"

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at iniwan muna sila sa kwarto nila. Bumaba na muna ako at humingi na muna ng paumanhin sa guest at gumawa ng excuse like, nag-iinarte ang dalawa.

Pumunta na ako sa pinakamalapit na cemetery at naglibot pero wala akong nakitang anino ni Vein. So i texted her.

>Bad Ass<
- where the heck are you? Andito ako sa cemetery.

Ilang sigundo ay nagreply siya.

>Bad ass<
- Haha i was just joking! Ano namang gagawin ko jan?! Fetch me up in the church near the hotel instead. Haha ingat ka!

Loko talaga. Napapa-iling akong sumakay ulit sa kotse at nagmaneho papuntang simbahan. Mabuti nalang at hindi na traffic kaya mabilis lang ang rating ko run. Nagmamadali narin kaming bumalik sa hotel dahil baka naiinip na ang mga bisita.

Umakyat na agad si Vein papunta sa silid naming dalawa para magbihis. And so i fetch the two.

"Mom is here let's go" aya ko sakanilang dalawa at inilahad ulit ang dalawa kong kamay. At kinuha na nila ito this time. I texted Lisa na baba kami. May pakulo kasi silang inihanda.

Sabay na kaming lumabas ng kwarto. Naunang lumabas ang kambal sa magkabilang bahagi ng hagdan. Voiden actin like a gentleman, handed her hand to Veinid. Sunod namin kaming lumabas na Vein. Nagkrus ang landas namin at ako ang nakahawak sa kamay ni Veinid at siya naman kay Voiden. Kasabay ng pagbaba namin ay ang pagwelcome at pagkanta nila ng happy birthday song sa kambal.

Nang tuluyan kaming bumaba ay nagsibabaan na lahat ng balloon at confetti. Pagkatapos ay ibinigay saamin ang mic.

"Thank you all for coming! Let us all enjoy the food! Eat well. And thank you once again!"

Saka niya ulit ibinigaya ng mic sa mc. Nagsimula naman itong tumalak ng kung ano ano to entertain visitors while waiting for their food.

Vein's PoV

Masaya kaming kumain together with my friends.

"Tita Vein" i looked below me to see Jade pulling my dress. "Hay Jade, where's your mom?" I ask her as i lightly pinch her nose. "Hey bad ass. Miss me?" Hinarap ko naman ang nagsalita sa likod ko bago ngumiti ng nakakaloko. "Kailan kita namiss, Emerald?" Ibinaba ko na muna si Jade dahil nagpupumiglas na ito.

Parehas kaming natawa sa inasal naming dalawa and we both hugged each other. "I miss you Vein. I still feel sorry for what i've done" sabi niya pa habang magkayakap kami. "You're forgiven now Emerald. Lrt go of the past. Will you?" natatawa kong sabi.

After 5 long years, natuto akong magpatawad. Ayokong mabuhay sa masayang mundong to na may puot at galit sa isang tao.

Sabay kaming nagpunta sa table at sabay sabay na kumain. Right after, something unexpected happen. The lights went off. Nagbulungan ang tao, mabuti nalang at kalmado lang sila.

"Today is the one of my twin's special day. And today i will make it more special." Boses yun ni Void, nasisiguro ko. Dahil siya lang namana ng tanging ama ng anak ko. Nagsimulang tumugtog ang pamilyar na kanta.

Nagbukas ang tatlong spotlight at nakatutok iyon sa ama ko, sa akin at isang malaking spotlight para sakanilang lima na pbaba ng hagdan. Ngumiti siya habang kumakanta sa harap ko at bahagyang humarap sa gawi ng ama ko.

Mula sa suit niya ay naglabas siya ng pulang kaheta at iniharap ito sakin.

I was damn speechless for a minute. I can't explain my feeling for now. Happiness is taking over my body.

Tuluyang tumulo ang luhang pinipigilan ko ang parang tangang tango ng tango. He hugged me and carry me up. Kissing infront of many people, a kiss that meant our heartbound for each other. Isinuot niya sakin ang singsing at naiiyak ko naman itong pinagmasdan. Kinuha ko sakanya ang mikropono at naiiyak na nagsalita.

"Void, the first time i saw you in Steel Academy. I felt excited and most of all, challenging. I don't know why but i kinda just feel like that. Nong una, i love to see you being pissed just because of my deeds. Pero look at us now! Both happy for what we have now and happy to say that, I am happy. For I will be facing a new chapter in my life, together with you as my husband and me as you wife kasama ang mga anak natin. And i wouldn't ask for more dahil para sakin kayong lahat ang pamilya ko at oontinto na ko sa buhay na meron ako ngayon because i have you, i have our jewels and all of them"
