Ash pov
Im in my room at the Pokemon Center, pretty much just talking with Serena about our day, and how she liked being around in Kanto again, "It's fun being around here, everybody's nice too each other", says Serena, "yeah, its pretty cool here", I say, "so Ash, who are you gonna use against Iris in a few days?", asks Serena, "I've only made up about half a team so far, Pikachu, Charizard and Greninja, but the other's im still trying to decide", "well, you only got 2 days to figure it out", says Serena, and she's right, I do, but whoever I choose, I know we can win.
[Timeskip]
2 days later
Ashh pov
"Charizard, use Dragon Rush", I say commanding, as he releases a white-looking dragon attack, while training with Garchomp, who I have chosen to help me during my battle against Iris. Dragon-types are weak to Fairy-types, Ice-types, and somewhat Dragon-Types, so I think it'll work, especially if I make Pikachu go against Dragonite, I mean Pikachu has defeated a Dragonite before, Drakes' Dragonite. "Alright you guys, good training, were definitely readu for Iris, get some rest, return", I say returning them to their Pokeballs, and I head for the Pokemon Center, as I pass Lyra, who's training to battle Paul, and let's just say, she's nervous, as she's seen Paul in action, and he's gonna be a tough one to try and defeat.
A couple hours later
Serena pov
"Hey Ash, let's get some sleep, you have a big day tomorrow", I say, "yeah, I do" says Ash, who walks over to me, "what's wrong?", I ask, "nothing, I'm just nervous for tomorrow's battle against Iris", I say, "really? But you've never been nervous before?". I'm worried, because Ash has always been confident against anybody he battles, including friends, so I wonder what's wrong, "wanna talk about it", I say, "yeah, it's just, I know I can win, but what if she ends oir friendship because I beat her, I mean, she's emotional, and she hates losing", "doesn't everybody?", he thinks, yeah, I guess so", says Ash, "but you haven't seen her when she loses", "well, hear me out, I dont think she'll end your friendship if she loses, I think she'll cheer you on to win it all".
Ash pov
After thinking about it, Serena's right, Iris would probably cheer me on, "yeah, your right, I guess I'm just stressed about the battle", I say, "you see it my way now, so, let's get sleep", Serena says, kissing my forehead , "yeah, it's kinda late", I say. We het inside the bed, and I kiss her on jer lips, "goodnight Serena, I love you", I say, "goodnight Ash, I love you too", says Serena.
