"Okay, as work days go, being covered in various... substances hasn't been my favorite thing." Kassidy giggled slightly as she brushed out her newly washed hair while sitting cross-legged on the sofa in her trailer, Karen pouring them mugs of tea as she stood at the little kitchenette.
"S'pose it wasn't all bad, though." Karen shrugged. "If you think about the actual concept of what the scene was, it was pretty cool. I mean, we were standing on a 'giant tongue' of a Star Whale."
"Oh, I love the concept. It was a fun scene to shoot." Kassidy assured her, taking the mug of tea Karen held out to her. "It just took a little bit to get everything out of my hair."
"Well you're the one that fell down." Karen pointed out.
"Which wasn't scripted, I know." Kassidy rolled her eyes before taking a sip of her tea, sighing as the warm liquid warmed her on the inside. "I bet they keep that in. I will bet you everything that they keep that in."
Karen laughed before taking a sip of her own tea. "I'm so going to laugh if they do."
Just then, there was a knock on the trailer door before Matt poked his head in. "Not intruding, am I?"
"Not at all." Kassidy smiled at him.
"Great!" He grinned before opening the door wider to reveal that he had a couple of bags of Chinese takeaway containers in his hands. "'Cause dinner has arrived."
"Ooh, Chinese food and steaming tea. Never had that combo before." Karen laughed a bit as Matt walked fully into the trailer and closed the door.
"Speaking of which, would you care for some tea?" Kassidy asked him, standing up from the sofa as Matt set the bags down on the table.
"Sure. Why not?" He shrugged as he began removing the takeaway containers from the bags. "And guess what. After I got cleaned up from earlier today, I was making my way through the studio when I ran into Steven. He said that he and the casting director Andy have finally chosen and cast someone for the role of Rory Williams."
That made Karen raise her eyebrows. "Have they now? And who is this man that is going be playing my boyfriend/fiancé?"
"His name is Arthur Darvill." Matt answered, taking the last container of Chinese out of the bag just before Kassidy handed him the mug of tea she had just made for him. "Thank you." He nodded at her before taking a sip. "I've actually met him before. He and I did a play together for like six months."
