"Here you go." Woojin says, lifting Sora so she could sit up as Chan moved a cup of medicinal tea up to her lips and she gulped at it slowly, before she started coughing violently again.

“Drink slowly mum.”

Chan frowned as he moved the cup away from her and Woojin pat her on the back softly. "I'm sorry you have to go through this."

"Chan." Sora speaks her eyes half closed and she puts her hand on his knee, rubbing her thumb against the fabric of his pants. "This isn't your fault."

"I feel like it is, and it doesn't make it better that Jisung isn't here either."

"Jisung would only blame himself more if he were here." Sora mumbles her throat rumbling with each word. "Don't let him see me like this, it'll break his heart."

"It'll break his heart if he doesn't get to see you before you go." Chan grumbles, his eyebrows furrowing.

"It's better this way." Sora shakes her head slowly. "Let him be happy with Minho for a while, my son deserves that much."

Chan sniffed, tears welling up in eyes as he gets up. "I can't do that to Jisung!"

"Chan, leave it be." Woojin puts a hand up to stop Chan. "She's too sick to deal with this."

Chan frowns before sitting back down. "Sorry."

"It's okay, you care for Jisung as much as I do. I understand."

"Do you want us to let you rest some more?" Woojin asks, rubbing her back soothingly.

"Yes plea-" A deafening crash interrupted Sora.

Chan stood up, his eyes wide. "What the hell?!"

Woojin moved away from Sora laying her down softly before looking at Chan with the same expression he had. "What was that?"

"SEARCH THE PLACE!" Crashing and banging filled their ears along with loud shouting.

Chan and Woojin stood frozen staring at each other before a bunch of males burst in the room and rushed at them, one of them reaching Chan first and grabbing onto him.

"Let me go!" Chan yelled, struggling to get out of the guards hold and watching as two others headed for Woojin and Sora. One grabbed hold of Woojin and the other lifted Sora up from where she laid. "Don't touch her!"

The guard holding onto Chan, knocked on the back of his head harshly, making him cry out. "Shut up you brat! You make too much noise."

"You have no right to do this!" Chan glared daggers at him.

"We have every right, it's the king's order."

The three guards dragged them out of the house, more of the stoic royal guards were gathered outside waiting to bring in the so-called traitors. Sora was thrown onto the back of a horse while Woojin and Chan got their hands bound behind their backs.

Chan glared and spat at the one who man handled Sora so roughly. "You're disgusting, throwing a sick woman around like that."

The guards around laughed loudly and the man that Chan had spoken to got into his face. "Look kid, I'm doing what I was ordered to. You should be grateful that the king didn't say to kill her, yet."

"Yet?!" Woojin finally speaks up, fear chilling him to the bone. Knowing that when the word 'yet' comes out of anyone's mouth it was never good. "What's the king planning?"

The man grinned, an evil glint in his eye. "That's for me to know, and for you to find out."

Changbin rubbed at his forehead as he sat in the cell. He had been trapped here for two days now after being sold out by his fellow guards. His eyes drooped from not sleeping and his stomach grumbled from not eating. He groaned from the aching in his lower abdomen and he gripped onto it as a small pain rippled through it.
