The rest of that day I was avoiding Jin.

I thought everything was going fine between us as friends and then that happened.

I wasn't so much angry as I was shocked.

He liked Fei and we all knew that.

Fei was a nice girl and I didn't want to see her get hurt.

I was currently on my way back over to the guys house.

As soon as I walked into the house I noticed how silent it was.

I looked down and noticed all of the shoes were gone.

All expect for two pairs.

Belonging to a guy and a girl.

Suddenly my phone goes off.

Yoongi: We all went out for lunch. Jin is home with Fei.

Oh, I see.

"Y/n? What are you doing here?" I hear and turn my head up to see Jin.

He was shirtless.

"I came to hang out. I just got the text saying everyone was gone." I say as I slide my phone into my pocket.

"Oh, hey." I hear as I see Fei come out of the kitchen.

Luckily, she was fully dressed, shoes and all.

"Anyways, I should get going. Have fun you two." I say as I turn on my heels.

"Why don't you just hang out with us?" I hear as I go to reach for the door handle.

"Oh, no, I don't think so." I say as I wave my hands in front of my face.

"Why not?" Jin asks.

I look down, my eyes catching sight of his chest, then shake my head.

"I just don't want to interrupt." I say.

"We were just talking. You're not interrupting anything. Really, it's okay." Fei smiles.

Finally, I give in.

I didn't exactly want to be third wheeling but it didn't seem like she would give up.

So I stayed.

Jin;
It seemed as if time was moving slowly.

It felt awkward sitting here with y/n and my girlfriend.

"Do you know when the guys are coming back?" Y/n asks, breaking the silence.

"They didn't say. Why, are you bored of me already?" I ask.

"It's not that. It's just that I miss them." She says.

"That's sweet. You know, you seemed pretty comfortable with Yoongi this morning. Are you two dating?" Fei asks.

"Huh?" Y/n asks, clearly taken back by the question.

"When I woke up you two were all cuddled up and it was cute. Your arms were around him and his arms were around you. I don't even think there was any space left between the two of you." Fei laughs.

Without meaning to, I clench my jaw.

"No, Yoongi is just a friend." Y/n says.

"I think you two would be cute together." Fei smiles.

"You and Jin are cute together." Y/n says to change the subject.

I was happy about that because I didn't want to hear about how she thought Yoongi would be cute dating y/n.

"Thank you." Fei says as she cuddles into my side.

"No problem. Jin's a good guy." y/n says with a smile.

"He really is."

My eyes stayed on y/n.

"You know, I did hear about you and him." Fei then says.

"What about me and him?" Y/n laughs.

"That he likes you and that you guys tried to date." Fei says.

"Yeah but it isn't like that. We're just friends." Y/n says.

"Just friends as in..?"

Y/n's eyes widen.

"No, it isn't like that either. Jin is like a brother to me. I don't have feelings for him."  Y/n says.

That was a shot to the heart.

My confidence, shattered.

"Well maybe not a brother but.." she trails off.

I keep my eyes hard on y/n's face.

She was flustered and that was clear to see.

"Well either way, I'm glad. Jin makes me really happy." Fei smiles widely.

Y/n and I make eye contact then she looks away.

It felt like my heart had just been thrown on the ground and stomped on.

I was hoping and praying that the guys would come home soon.

I was just sitting here in this awkward atmosphere.

"I should get going. My mother wants me home." Fei says out of no where.

"Okay, I'll text you later." Jin says as he watches her stand.

She leans down and kisses him then heads for the door.

When she's gone Jin and I exchange glances.

"What now?" He asks.

"I guess we'll just wait for the guys to come home." I shrug.

"Listen y/n. I want to talk about this morning." Jin says.

Here we go.

"Can we not? I just want to start fresh with you Jin. Can we just be how we were? Before everything happened." I say.

"No y/n, we can't. I'm sorry but I'm not forgetting about my feelings. I'm not forgetting about the kisses or anything else we did. I won't." Jin says.

"You have a girlfriend, Jin." I say as I let out a breath.

"Yeah but I wouldn't if you actually wanted me." Jin sighs.

"You know the reason I wanted you to get a girlfriends, right?" I ask suddenly.

"Yeah. You don't feel the same way." Jin says.

"It's not just that. There's more to it. I wanted you to find someone who would be able to care for you too. I didn't know how I felt about you and I didn't want to waste your time. I care about you Jin, really I do, but I want you to be happy. Waiting for me isn't going to help and we both know that." I say honestly.

"Promise me something?" Jin starts as he sits forward.

"What is it?"

"If I accept the fact that you don't feel the same way, will you come to me if you ever do?" He asks.

I bite my lip and think.

Is there even a possibility that I could ever like Jin?

Before I think further, I speak.

"Okay, I promise."
