for the cologne

on valentine's day
i still wear it
it makes me think

for the leather couch
i lay on at night
and fall asleep
leaving my bed
lonely in my room
you used to sit
where i rest my head now.

for my blank expression

"it's over"

terror
disgust

for the coat you left
