"No your not." Noah replied, simply.

"Just you wait until court steps in Noah." Niomi threatened.

"And just you wait, until my Dad , one of the best lawyers in town steps in." Noah replied.

"He's already agreed to stand for us." You could tell Niomi was smiling.

And with that Noah hung up. He threw his phone onto the counter and turned around and punched a wall.

"NOAH, STOP!" I screamed.

I put Maisie carefully down on the floor and grabbed Noah's arms.

He struggled away from my grip and stormed upstairs.

"Oh dear." I said, to Maisie who was staring at me, confused.

I picked her up and she snuggled into my chest.

I carried her upstairs and put her in her cot because it was around eleven o'clock.

I read her a story, kissed her forehead and tucked her in.

She smiled and fell asleep.

Her Mum does not deserve her.

Orlando rang my phone.

"Astrid, where are you?"

"I'm at Noah's, I'm going to stay the night." I replied.

"Duke's going to kill you, and Max." Orlando warned.

"Just cover for me, okay?" I begged.

"Fine."

He hung up.

I walked to Noah's bedroom door to see he had locked it.

"Noah?" I said, quietly.

He unlocked the door.

I walked into his dark room.

I could feel him stood really close to me.

He shut the door behind me so we were in the pitch black.

He hugged me and just began sobbing into my neck.

I wrapped my arms around him and let him cry it out.

"Thanks." He whispered.

I didn't say anything.

We just hugged in his dark bedroom, in silence.

Both of us to scared to say anything.
