Janet's POV

I groaned as the rays of the sun woke me up from my slumber. My head was pounding and my body was sore as hell. It took me about five minutes just to open my eyes, but I managed to do it. I frowned and turned around, trying to avoid the sunlight, but as soon as I did it, I came face to face with a sleeping Mariah. What the hell?

I sat up a bit and felt a coolness rush over me as the sheets slid off of my chest. I looked down, seeing that I was bare, and quickly pulled the covers back over me. I guess the tug woke her up, because when I looked back at her, she was staring at me with wide eyes. Ah, hell.

"Am I naked? I don't wanna look down."

"So you want me to do it??" She blushed,

"Nevermind." I watched as she checked herself then blushed harder. I sighed and bit my lip in thought.

"What do you remember from last night?"

"I remember dancing and you um... helping me drink. Then we ate and went to the roof." I glanced at her as she bit her lip shyly.

"You have a bunch of hickeys around your neck." Her eyes widened as she ran to my bathroom, pulling the sheets with her. "Hey!" I sighed and looked around. I had a comforter before. The hell did it go? I searched and finally spotted it on the floor. As I covered my chest and got up to grab the comforter, my bedroom door bust open. I yelped and quickly covered myself,

"Damn, Whit! Knock next time!" She chuckled watching me struggle,

"I was only making sure you were up. I made breakfast, so hurry up and get ready." I nodded and watched as she made her way to the door, "Oh, and tell Mimi that she left her dress downstairs." My eyes widened as she snickered and left. Mariah walked out the bathroom and stared at the floor, embarrassed.

"I should head back to my room." I nodded slowly,

"Come back once you're dressed. We need to talk." She nodded and quickly made her way out of the room.

Once she returned, I noticed that her hickeys were gone. I suppose she covered them with makeup. Hell, I couldn't blame her. I had a few on my body that I did the same to. I sat on my bed and invited her over to sit by me.

"Alright, we need to figure out what went down last night." She hugged her knees and thought,

"What's the very last thing you remember?"

"The roof. We kissed in the rain, but the rest is a blur." I laid back on the bed and sighed as I thought,

"Whitney said you left your dress downstairs. Maybe she knows what happened." Mariah's eyes widened,

"We're telling Whitney?!"

"Ain't nothing to tell if she already knows!"

"But, we don't know that!" I rolled my eyes.

"Well, we're about to find out." I got up and pulled her up as we made our way downstairs. Whitney turned to us, from the stove, and smiled.

"Good morning, sleepyheads." I squinted at her,

"Spill." She snickered,

"I'll tell you, but under one condition. I want Mariah to lend me her earrings for tonight. I have a date." I nodded,

"Deal." Mariah scoffed,

"Don't speak for me, Jackson. Volunteering my shit for auction like you done lost your mind." Whitney snickered as I glared at her.
