Grandpa’s desk was always interesting, but this was something else. A letter: the handwriting wasn’t Granma’s, the lipstick mark was red and luscious, nothing like Gran’s angry tight lipped sneer had been.
The door to his room in the old folks home opened and he stood there smiling, his arm around an elegant woman’s shoulders.
Caught red handed!
A smile, a wink and the secret went back on the desk…
