Chapter 6

* Joseph's Kitchen above*

*Ariellas' POV *

...."MATE".... We said in unison. A smile began to grow upon my face as I looked into the eyes of my mate. His soft touch sent tingles throughout my body. "I told you he was here! Have mercy our mate is so hot! Look at those eyes, Arie, look at him ohhhh that hair, how I'd love to get my paws on him right now!" Bella chimes in suddenly. " BELLS!!! That's who you were talking about?! He is gorgeous I mean I'm sure those sculpted arms aren't just for- Wait WHAT on earth am I thinking?!?! Stop it Arie, calm yourself girl." I find myself ogling my mate as if he were the most delectable being on earth. " Well, he is pretty smokin' Arie. He's our mate it's only natural! Now let me at him!!" Bella all but shouts at me. " No I need to get to know him before you eye rape him any further Bells." And with that I block her off before she can retaliate.

"Darlin'?" My mate calls out to me. " Hmm? I'm sorry I was distracted by my wolf..." I sheepishly tell him. " I asked what your name was, though I don't mind calling you darlin' I'd like to know my mates name." He smiles with what appears to be love in his eyes. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry... umm my name is Ariella, but some people call me Arie for short." I blush. Looking at him I can tell he's powerful. His aura tells me he's very high up. I notice his chest flex under his shirt as he reaches towards me running his fingers down my arm to my hand sending a pleasurable shiver down my back followed by warmth.  I lick my dry lips as he grasps my hand gently causing me to once again look into his beautiful hazel orbs. " Ariella..." he calls my name making me squeeze my thighs together as if hearing my name from his mouth didn't just arouse me. "Yes... ummm..." I realize I have no idea his name. Seeing this sort of embarrassment from me my mate speaks up..." Joseph, my name is Joseph. How rude of me, please forgive me." he says looking at me with his eyes full of ... hurt? " Nice to meet you Joseph" I blush looking down at our still clasping hands. " Ahem-" a voice behind us grabs our attention, "We'll just be heading out for a while so that you can get acquainted." I smile, that must be Kevin, Macis' mate I say to myself. " Thank you Kevin, I will call if I need you for anything. Maci, thank you for your help as well." my mate nods to them and before you know it, we are alone. I don't know if this is a smart choice as I'm uncertain how this will go. I'm not ready to give myself away to a stranger , THAT I do know. I need to find out if he even wants me first. "OF COURSE MATE WANTS US!! HE LOVES US!! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT???" Bella chimes in. " I need to hear it Bella, I need to know this Greek Adonis standing in front of us wants us. I don't want to get involved only to get my heart broken, and by someone that I could easily get attached to."I say to her.

"Ariella? Darlin', what are you thinking about?" Joseph questions . " Hmm? Oh nothing really... So.. we're mates... umm-" I trail off. He must have noticed my hesitancy " Yes darlin' and I can honestly tell you that you've NO clue how long I've been looking for you, waiting for you... I thank the moon goddess for the wait.." He smiles lovingly at me " It was worth all those years to FINALLY find a beauty such as yourself." I look down our hands are now both intertwined running our thumbs across each others hand, " It was? I am?" I ask him. " Of course, why wouldn't it be? And Ariella, you are the most beautiful woman I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. To top it off you're my mate? How much better can that be?" I see nothing but honesty in his eyes. " So you don't want to reject me?" I ask a little less scared of his response. " What?! NO! I was afraid you'd reject me, and me being the man I am, as much as it would've hurt I would do anything to let you be happy..... even.... even if that meant letting you go." He suddenly says but his voice faltered. " MATE WANTS US I TOLD YOU!!! I JUST WANNA LICK HIM ALL OVER ... MMM MMM THAT BODY ! GIRL THE THINGS I WANT TO DO-" I cut Bella off before my cheeks get any redder. "Are you hungry Ariella?" Joseph asks and I nod my head forgetting I haven't had anything since lunch and was going to have dinner with the family. I begin to follow him into this gorgeous kitchen when it hit me...Oh NO! Dinner with my family, the Aplha's coming, they must be so worried! " Wait what time is it?" I ask him realizing my phone is probably lost to the river now. " It's 9 in the evening, why do you ask?" "9 p.m.!! Oh goddess no! I need to call my mom and dad they have no idea where I'm at... we were suppose to have family dinner and we had guests coming! What if they are looking for-" I start rambling but am cut off by my mate locking his lips with mine. Suddenly I find myself melting at his touch, not at all alarmed my mate is kissing me for the first time. His lips against mine are so soft. As I give in to him my arms snake around his neck not knowing what I'm doing just letting my body do the talking for me. His lips molded to mine , licking my lips and begging for entrance for which I deny, thinking he'll push further but when it doesn't happen I'm shocked and suddenly I'm brought back to reality needing air. We reluctantly pull apart panting staring at one another. " I'm so sorry Ariella, I didn't meant to.. My wolf just ... " he trails off as he looks for forgiveness  for what I'm not sure of. " Why are you sorry? I didn't mind it.... I've never had a kiss like that before. It was amazing. " I tell him caressing his cheek. He leans into my hand kissing it ever so gently causing me to blush. " Neither have I... I just didn't know how else to get you to calm down and my wolf, Gerard, took over and well that was the result of it. I would NEVER do anything without your consent. I can't it's not how I was raised. You said you had to call your parents? Why can't you just link them? " he asks me. " Well... you see... they aren't exactly wolves so linking them doesn't work. I'm adopted and they are human. I knew this from a young age and my parents have never hidden anything from me. They said it's how a true relationship is formed... with honesty. I need to call them Joseph , they are probably frantic over me not coming home. I told them I'd be home by 7 since the Alpha of whose territory we are on was coming to greet us." I say all in one breath nervous of how he'll react that I'm putting some unknown Alpha above him. I see him grin followed by a light chuckle... "What is it? What's so funny?" I ask him curiously. "Darlin,  I feel this will be our first lesson in honesty in this relationship... that's if you accept me. I was suppose to meet your parents, I am that Alpha, Ariella." He looks at me with ... shame? " You...You... are the Alpha? Oh Goddess can this get anymore intense? " I ask him. "Yes, I am but I'm not just the Alpha I am the Alpha King and the territory you are on are the Royal Pack Lands." He states as he nervously rubs the back of his neck. " ROYAL PACK LANDS!? ... ALPHA KING?!?! But I'm your mate that would make me-" I trail off " My Luna Queen." Joseph says with adoration and love in his eyes as he smiles down at me. I feel light headed and begin to falter my steps when Joseph sees this he reaches out and grabs me to keep me from collapsing. " Please, don't faint love, I can't stand to see you hurt. I am sorry if I was not what you thought or wanted. I told you before I would understand if-" I had to stop him from saying that word again ... so I turn the tables on him and kissed him back, wrapping my arms around his neck putting all my attention into the kiss. I poured my admiration and appreciation in to this kiss and he obviously wasn't going to argue as his arms snaked around my waist letting out a growl as he reached my ass. " Darlin' you can do that anytime you like." he grins at me. "It's not that I don't want you, it was just a lot to take in and still is." I calmly state to him. "I'll give you all the time you need love, I'm so sorry I caused you panic...." he says as he links his arm around my waist heading into the kitchen towards the fridge. "Here's my phone, call your parents and let them know you are safe and I'll bring you home shortly, I want to make sure you eat first." He hands me his phone and as I am dialing I notice how his backside is so muscular. Like every define muscle has its own reason to be kissed, touched, licked by me- STOP IT ARIE!!  " Hello? Hello?" I am snapped back to reality with my moms voice on the other end. " Hey mom its me-" "ARIELLA MARIE SANDERS! WHERE ARE YOU!?!?! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?!?! YOUR FATHER AND I HAVE BEEN SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU! YOU PROMISED YOU'D BE HOME WE HAD PLANS-" she shouts frantically at me causing my mate to turn and growl at who is yelling at me "MOM!!! If you would give me a second I can tell you everything." I say to her. " I'm sorry sweetheart we just got so worried and you have never been late before and when we  couldn't get you on your phone... I thought... I'm just so glad you're okay." she says more calm than before. " It's okay mom, I'm okay. I was down by the river letting Bella go for a run and after I shifted back I slipped on a rock and fell hitting my head." I tell her and dad. " You fell?! Munchkin are you sure you should be talking ?" My dad ..... still calls me munchkin... I laugh to myself. " Dad I'm okay, but I need to talk to you both I have someone bringing me home . He saved me from the cold after I got hurt." I smile saying this looking at my mate. " Okay sweety we will see you soon.Love you." they say in unison. "I Love you too." I hang up looking at my mate .." Well are you ready to meet my parents ALPHA?"...looking at him curiously.
