Kassandra
Ghost and Vic's sister is beautiful. Plus she has a smart mouth, and she snitched on them to their mother.
I love her already.
"I like you." I said.
"Thanks, you not so bad yourself. Look I apologize for my insensitive little brothers, I have no idea what they were thinking." she stated, sitting on the foot on the bed.
"I'm honestly used to it, they've been like that since I met them."
It's weird, because I like Ghost/Spooky/Elliot. It's just that it seems like every time we get somewhere, something happens that takes us fifteen steps back. I'm not willing to ask him to change his very persistent ways, so maybe this is just a sign that things aren't supposed to work out between us? Hell, I'on know.
"Did they explain to you why you're here?" Sasha asked me.
"Yea, but they left out a few details since I was leaving out a few of my details."
"Iight well basically, they're like a team of helpers. To people that need...help. They're known by a lot of people as someone that can get you out of sticky situations like bad encounters wit bookies or loan sharks, shit like that. Our uncle was in the CIA back in the day and he taught us everything he knows, Vicky told me that you have those skills witout even having any training, which means that you are fucking brilliant. Plus you're a very determined person; you know what you want and you stop at nothing to get it and you never give up...except.." she trailed off, looking over at Val. Val met her gaze and started shaking her head with a smirk on her face.
"Except what?" I questioned, looking at the both of them.
"With my brother of course, duh. You're thinking of giving it all up."
"You are not telapathic, there's no way you could be sure of that. Besides, you just met me."
"So? What that mean? Look, all I know is there are people that need help out there and there's a certain Bipolar chick that is in need of some nieces and nephews." she leaned back on the bed on her elbows. I shook my head.
"This is not Gotham City." I reminded her. "We can't just go around saving the world in fucking spandex. Now helping people is a different story, just try not to put it like you put it."
"Nah we're more like the city of Townsville. When it was me and my brothers I was Blossom, Vic was and always be Buttercup, and Elliot is Bubbles." Sasha said. Val and I bust out laughing. "What? We were!"
"How come he has to be Bubbles?" I asked through my laughter.
"Because he's the one that's silent but deadly, he can speak Spanish and he loves animals." she explained as if it was the simplest thing ever. "Vic is the tough and impulsive one and then I was the leader. But now that you're here, you can be the leader. You took acting classes in college right?"
"Yea, wait how you know that?"
"I looked you up, duh. I can't have my baby brothers in a house wit a lunatic."
"Then why am I here?" I asked.
"For the billionth time, you are not a lunatic." Val sighed and threw her head back.
"Number one flaw of yours: low self-esteem." Sasha stated, playing with my hair. "Nice curls, it's naturally like this?"
"Yes, don't touch me." she held her hands up in surrender, going back to the edge of the bed. "And the last thing I have is low self-esteem. Look at me, why would I have low self-esteem?" I gestured to my body.
