I made my way to the ice rink after spending some time in the Hot Spring. Victor and the Yuris headed there a while ago, I was tired from looking for song all night to use for my Free Skate. I had no idea what I was going to do. I told them to go on without me and I would catch up later. Yuri was reluctant to leave me, but the other Yuri (Or "Yurio" as of last night. To make it less confusing we gave him that nickname. Although he refuses to answer to it.) was insisting they leave as soon as possible.
I took my morning run around town before getting to the rink. I looked around and didn't see Yuri on the ice. Victor and Yurio were though. Hm,odd. "Hey, Victor!" I called out. Victor looked up and smiled, "Hello Y/N! Good morning." I smiled, "Good morning. Where's Yuri?" I asked, tilting my head.
Victor didn't hesitate to answer, "He is working on basic fundamentals while I work with Yurio for now." I gave him a weird look. It wouldn't hurt for Yuri to do so, but then again he could still do some work on the ice.
I shrugged and went to the back locker room to see Yuri off in a day dream. I sat and waited for him to snap out of it so I wouldn't scared him. Yuri shook his head and continued to work. I laid across a bench, staring at the ceiling. "I couldn't find a song," I sighed sadly. I saw Yuri jump out of the corner of my eye as he turned to me. I yelped as I felt something hit my stomach. I looked down to see Yuri's phone. I picked it up and saw a song was pulled up.
"What's this?" I asked as I read the title, History Maker. I looked up at Yuri to see him smiling. "I think that will go well for your Free Skate," Yuri explained. I pulled out my headphones, plugged them in and listened to the song. I smiled. It was a good song, and it caused a smiled to spread onto my face.
I quickly sat up and looked at Yuri. Yuri saw my action and brought his attention to me. "It's perfect, and it gives my the perfect idea for my theme this season," I stood up, pacing a bit as I thought about the moves I could put with it. "Well, what's your theme going to be?" Yuri asked, at this point Yuri was basically my coach, but I didn't mind. I got to see my best friend more often.
I smirked, "You'll have to wait until it's time for me to announce it." Yuri gave me a loot before a smirk broke out onto his face. He has an idea, and when Yuri had ideas that involved a smirk, it was never good.
I began running for my life out of the locker room, but was grabbed as soon as I made it to the door. I shouted, attempting to gain the attention of Victor or Yurio. Yuri poked his head out, "Don't worry about us," He laughed nervously, "She's trying to get out of discussing her skating next season." I could tell Yurio and Victor were giving him looks that suggested other wise because Yuri's cheeked reddened. I felt mine heat up a bit as I ran for the door. "He's trying to figure out my theme!" I called out, "Help me!"
There was no response as Yuri shut the door and threw me over his shoulder. I yelped as he set me down on the bench. "Are you going to tell me your theme?" He asked, trying to give me a second chance. I shook my head, "Nope."
A smile spread across his face. I went to try to make another run for it, but Yuri beat me to it as he began to tickle me. I busted out laughing while he began tickling my sides. I gasped for air as he stopped. "Ready to tell?" Yuri asked. I shook my head and Yuri began torturing me once again. By the time he stopped again I had tears streaming down my face. I gasped for air. Yuri gave me a chance to catch my breath before talking again.
"This isn't working. Is it?" Yuri asked looking stumped. I nodded, possibly a bit too quickly, but he didn't seem to notice. Yuri sighed and his breath fanned over my face. A grin crawled across my face as I leaned closer. Yuri blushed and I knew my plan was working. "But... There could be another way you could get it out of me," I chewed my lip and wrapped my arms around his neck.
Yuri's eye widened and his face turned tomato red. It didn't help that it was cold in here, so that made any blush more visible than regular. "U-Uh. Y-Y/N, a-are you okay?" Yuri asked, he wasn't ever used to anyone being this close to them. Male or female. Surely I had a blush as well, but I didn't acknowledge it.
Yuri stared at me for a moment, to be honest I expected him to shove me away as soon as I got close, but he didn't. So either he was enjoying this, or he's too shocked to react.
I heard shuffling in the room before we heard something fall to the floor. I flinch as Yuri's grip on the side of the bench slipped and his lips crashed into mine. My eyes widened and Yuri quickly pulled away. My gaze snapped to where the noise came from to see the triplets. Lutz picked up a phone she had dropped on the floor while the other two held up a video camera and a voice recorder.
Yuri quickly pulled away from me and I sat up, moving back. We sat in silence for a moment while the triplets were processing what happened. Then, all at once, they exploded with questions.
"Are you two dating?"
"How long have you liked each other?"
"Are you going to make it public?"
"We can do that for you!"
"Unless it's a hidden romance!"
My eyes widened and I shook my head, "No, no, no. We were messing around. Yuri's hand just slipped. We're not in a relationship, and we don't need to make it public." The triplets did this stuff often. They found stuff that was worth news and posted it. They did it with Yuri when he danced to Victor's Program.
They looked disappointed as the nodded, "Fine..." They all answered. I shooed them out the door and turned to see Yuri still flushed. I looked away and we sat in silence. After a few minutes, I coughed awkwardly. "I-I'm sorry about that," I said quietly. Yuri didn't speak and just nodded. I grabbed my bag and headed to the door. "I'm just gonna go," I spoke just above a whisper. Yuri nodded and spoke quietly, "I'll see you at home..." He trailed off.
I nodded and rushed out, passing by Yurio and Victor. Victor smiled and waved as usualy and I ignored him. "Leaving so soon?" Victor asked. I forced a smile and nodded, "Yeah. I'm going to go home and maybe go hang out with Minako later." Victor nodded.
I walked out and headed home, I think I'll just lay down and think for a bit. I didn't expect Yuri to do anything besides shove me away. When he didn't I was a bit caught off guard, but the last thing I expected... I could still feel his lips on mine. Even if it was an accident, his silence made my chest sink. Was I that bad?
I walked in the house and went to my room. I lay down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. Why did the triplets have to see that too. Ugh,I feel so stupid.
I decided to scroll through my social media for a bit. I always seem to loose track of time on social media, because I heard the front door close. I looked at the time and realized two hours had passed. I sighed and set my phone down, closing my eyes.
I heard a knock on the door and sighed, "Hello?" The door cracked open and Yuri poked his head through the door and I waved tiredly. "Hey, Y/N. I just wanted to make sure you're okay," Yuri explained. I shrugged, "Yeah. I'm fine." Yuri looked at me, "I-I meant. From the-the kiss," he said nervously.
"It's fine. It was just an accident. You slipped, nothing big. If it doesn't mean anything to you, it doesn't mean anything to me," I said shrugging. Yuri slowly nodded, "Alright. I-I'll see you at dinner then." I nodded and he backed out of the room.
I looked at my phone to see that I already had several notifications in the time I set my phone down.
