(A/N: This chapter is in Yuri's point of view)

I stared at Y/N as he eyes fell closed and she fully relaxed. I smiled as I continued to play with her H/L H/C hair.

I knew Y/N liked me, I was her best friend for years and this led me to be able to tell any time she had a crush. I know the main thing holding her back is our careers. She is worried about me and everyone else. She tries not to think about herself as much as possible. I got frustrated with her on that sometimes. That is why I considered quitting so much. That way she wouldn't have a choice but to think about herself.

I stayed with her for a bit longer and slowly pulled away from her. She shifted in her sleep, but stayed at peace. I tried my best to avoid Roman, but he woke up anyways. To keep him from barking I quickly scratched behind his ear. He got distracted and put his head down. Phew.

I stood up, slipping my shoes on and grabbing the bags I had set by the door. I opened the door, being as quiet as possible. I made it out and headed to the room Victor and I occupied. I walked in and found Victor sitting on his bed. He gave me a smiled and I avoided his gaze, setting the bags I had down beside the door.

I thought I was going to be able to sleep in peace when Victor spoke up. "So Yuri, how was your night?" He questioned with a knowing tone. I shrugged and sat on my bed that was placed a couple of feet from Victor. "Okay, I went out shopping, got some things we need and some souvenirs," I lied. Hopefully Victor will believe me, I've never been good at lying.

That or Y/N just knows all of my tells.

Victor's grin widened as he only seemed more happy. "So a romantic night on the town with Y/N?" He pushed. I shook my head at his accusations. "No, just a night out. Y/N left for her room when she left the coffee shop," I explained.

Victor gave me a doubtful look, but stopped pestering me. I lay down and shut my eyes, going to sleep.

Y/N POV

Roman jumped around on the bed, waking me up. He barked before running to his food dish, meaning he was hungry.

I gave him some food and got ready for the day. My competition is tomorrow, the same time as Yuri's. I really wanted to see his performance and be there for him, but that wasn't the case this time. Thankfully, in the finals the times were all different. That way, I could watch Yuri's performances and Yuri could watch mine.

I had come a long way since the last time he watched me, so this would hopefully be one of my best performances. Maybe at least knowing someone is out there to support me will help.

I put Roman on his leash and headed to the ice rink nearby. I needed extra practice before the competition, no distractions whatsoever.

I walked  to the rink where the competition would be taking place. We were aloud to use it until the competition, thankfully they were open 24/7 if you paid. I'd be willing if it got me a gold medal.

I walked into the nearly empty rink, the only people who were really there were people who were competing in The Cup of China, men and women. I plugged in my headphones and put on my skates.

I had train Roman enough not to get on the ice, so I let him off of his leash so that he could wander around. He'd bark if anything went wrong.

I skated onto the ice, turning my music up all the way so that I could focus. No distractions. I decided to go through my entire show. I quickly did my short program, stumbling once after a triple axel that I had been trying to incorporate into my program, if I managed that I'd be one step closer to achieving the goal I've always wanted.

I wanted to make history, like the song. I wanted to be known for something not many people did. I could show others that anything is possible. In today's world people need that.

People need someone to show them that if they try hard enough they can achieve anything. Nowadays people try to make everything safe, no risks equals safe future and safe future means safe life.

It also means  boring life.

Extremely boring.

In the world of professional figure skating, one bad move effects your entire future. Ask Yuri, he did bad in one competition and everyone thought he would retire. I have no idea how he deals with it all. I can't even deal with a few hate messages, let alone an entire fan base doubting you.

I'm so proud of how far Yuri's come. Sure he had the help of Victor, but everyone needs help here and there. Never in a million years did I think Yuri would become the type to have confidence, let alone show off.

I finished my performance and the world became clear once again. Brown eyes stared into mine as I was lifted into the air. I laughed as Yuri lifted me into air, spinning me.

He went to set me down and I pointed my legs to the side, causing me to slide behind Yuri. I gripped his hands in mine to support me, knowing he has really good balance. He twirled with me as we then began spinning.

Our hands were joined in the middle as out skates were barely at an angle. We spun for a few moments until be both lost balance, falling onto the ground.

A voice came from nearby while we were in the middle of our laughter. "No one told me about you to getting back together," A thick accent spoke. I turned to find my friend from Italy, Lorena Ruvolo. She had a smirk that was graced on her red lips. She was hardly ever caught without some form of make up, but she was beautiful either way.

My giggles died down as I shook my head. "Oh, no. We aren't a thing anymore," I told her. Yuri and I were just close, that's how we acted, fake dating or not.

At least I thought so. "Sadly, unless she takes the offer of being in a relationship once again," Yuri piped up from behind me as I was lifted from the ice.

Lorena made a small gasp, realizing what was going on. She watched, like a teenage watching her favorite drama show while I focused on Yuri.

A smile etched onto his face  as he gave me a hopeful look. He was like some puppy  you couldn't say no to. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't stop loving him. "Y/N, I know things didn't turn out too well the first time, but would you mind trying again?" He asked, he lowered his voice before adding a second part, "Maybe for real this time?"

I felt the heat rise to my cheeks as I nodded, my lips not being able to form actual words.

There was a cheer heard from close by, Lorena most likely. "Just kiss already!" Familiar words were shouted by a familiar Russian accent.
