nigger
/ˈnɪɡə/
(noun.)
;
a contemptuous word that should have been been buried alongside the tortured and abused, yet it still rests not only on the tongues of those who are forced wear their scars, but by the descendants of their oppressors.~ dear black people,
we are not the same as those of yesterday, so why do we insist on carrying this legacy of slavery on our backs by recycling the word that was used to oppress us. you ask why we are still oppressed today. maybe instead of being part of the problem, we should be an agent of the change.
