The fact slowly starts to sink in as I back away from the men. With each step I take, my heart beat grows faster and louder until I can hear it pounding in my ears.
A gun shot sounds on the small street and one of the guys drops to the ground. I bring a hand to my mouth to stop the blood-curdling scream from escaping my lips. Blood splatters all over the filthy brick wall and basically goes everywhere. "oh my god" I whisper under my breath, barely able to be heard through the ringing echo of the gunshot that still lingered on the deserted street but regardless of how quiet, he still heard me. The masked guy swings around before the other guy sprints off around the corner, leaving me alone with this creep.
He lets out a sigh and steps towards me. "please! Leave me alone! I have done nothing!" I beg him, tears streaming down my face. I'm going to die. I'm so dead right now... He ignores me and continues stepping forward until he shoves me roughly into the side of a run down, abandoned building.
"you are going to go home, go to sleep and forget any of this ever happened, alright?" he snarls in my face. I weakly nod, to terrified to say anything. "I swear if you tell anyone about this I will hunt you down and kill you personally. Understand?" he growls. "I understand" I whisper weakly. "I wont tell anyone anything at all, I promise. Now please just let me go" I beg.
He releases my arms and walks away from me, down the dark, cold and deserted street. I watched him go until he completely disappeared into the dark. I slide down the wall onto the gritty ground. I didn't die.
