"Welcome , Inya Perlhim, Head Scholar of Aqyila," said Gyouta Nasmin. He was a plump old man, with a large unruly white beard, he made me think he was the grim version of Santa Claus. His office was one of the largest I have seen. It was located within a tower in the complex. Shelves spiralled all the way up the tower and at the centre of the tower, was his desk. A foot long Ekhol was perched on his desk.

Inya, Axel and I sat around the table, after brief introductions.

"I have been informed that you want to discuss more on my recent paper on Akashic channelling across time," Gyouta said, folding his arms across the table.

"Yes, we would actually like to test your theory, maybe fine tune it here and there. I have been recently going into this topic as well. So I thought, maybe we could work together and come up with an actual method," Inya explained. It was the lie we had come up with to cover up the fact that I time travelled.

Gyouta furrowed his brows," My ideas have been rejected by the Scholars of the Akashic Council. But if you truly do want to delve into this subject, I have no objections. I will only guide you however. I rather not get into trouble," Gyouta said.

Inya nodded slowly,"Yes, I am aware. The council will not be on your tail, I promise. This is completely private," Inya replied. After some discussions and negotiations, we finally got Gyouta to agree.

Gyouta began enlighting us with his theories in no time at all. He pulled out various scrolls and journals from his shelves and spread them out before us. Countless of calculations and hypotheses filled the scrolls, along with diagrams of the human anatomy, chakra points and so on.

He started off by explaining the basics of the Akashic flow across time. They was much I did not know about the Akashic, hence his explanation was truly informative.

I came to know that the Akashic is categorised as the fourth dimension, the dimension we live in being the third. The lower the intelligence of the race the lower their dimensional position. The Akashic dimension could only be accessed by reaching a certain frequency, in which I am aware of. What was intriguing was that, the Akashic was not a dimension affected by space an time. One could project thoughts from light years away, or across the future and past. Which brought us to Gyouta's recent hypotheses.

Projecting thoughts across time has proven to be close to impossible without damaging the user. Hence, this method had been long abandoned by the people of this time. I had done it before, and the experience was not so enjoyable. Nevertheless, Gyouta had delved deeper into the topic to figure out a way that this method could be carried out without harm.

Gyouta had speculated that to transmit thoughts through time, one had to have an extremely strong hold on their physical self. They had to be mentally strong as to not get pulled into the whirlwind of the Akashic. An Akashic user alone would have trouble holding onto their physical selves. Thus, Gyouta speculated another user exerting equal Akashic force would have to interwine their power with the Akashic user attempting to transmit through time. The equal Akashic force had to be focussed onto the current realm and time they were in. By doing so, the equal opposite reaction force would cancel out the Akashic force exerted through time, hence there would be no resultant Akashic force pulling the user's mind into the fourth dimension.

The principle of equilibrium.

It made sense, nevertheless there had to be a catch. The ability to extend through time was immensely difficult,  hence an Akashic user of great power could only achieve it. Moreover, the anchor had to be of equal power as well. Alas, only the Higher Ones were known to hold this immense power.

Was I as powerful?

After his explanation, we went on to tell him that we had expanded on his hypothesis, and wondered if the physical self could be transmitted through time, through the Akashic.

I had done it before. The rip caused by the AHM333 activator was a rip in the Akashic. I fell into the rip and travelled across time. However, I was in an extremely uncontrolled environment, hence I could not control the timeline I fell into, and the process took on physical damage. I swore I would have died. If Gyouta was right, I could travel through time without harming myself, and control the timeline I fell into.

"Transmitting the physical self..." Gyouta murmured, trailing off.

"Theoretically, one would have to transform their body temporarily to reach substance that would resonate with the Akashic. I do not know if that is possible," he said.

"But there could be a possibility! We have to look into it," Inya said.

Gyouta frowned, and pondered her suggestion. "I could help you... But I do not know if your research would be fruitful," he said. I knew the scientist in him was urging to explore more.

We ended our discussion on a note that we would return for more research.

We spent the rest of the day in the inventory, rummaging through scrolls that would help us. I could not help but feel slightly disappointed. Gyouta's explanation made Akashic thought transmission through time seem possible, but time travelling was still out of reach. And I needed to get home. Fast.

I thought I would be getting answers when I came to Fruiro. But I stood corrected.

I sighed, as I scanned the scrolls. My eyes suddenly caught on a strange title.

The Supreme Wielder Ophera

It looked like a story, rather than a factual piece. I pulled it out and sat at one of the tables to read it. The words were delicately inked on the yellow papyrus. It was indeed a fable. Or more like a legend.

It might not be related to my research. Nevertheless, it intrigued me for some unknown reason.

I let the curiosity get the best of me.
