Rachel's PoV
It's the next morning. Charlie is having more tests and he is starting chemo tomorrow. I'm just heading home as he told me to go and get some of his stuff.
I'm just at our house and I walk in the front door.
"Where the heck have you been" Brad shouts as I can see the anger in his faces
I forgot to tell him. Flip sake I'm such an idiot.
"Brad I'm so sorry" I say a little scared not scared of Brad scared of what he will say.
"I was so worried about you" Brad's face softens as he brings me into a hug
"Where were you" Brad asks tears fall from my eyes as I continue to hug Brad.
"I was at the hospital" I stutter Brad pulls away and looks at me
"Why what's wrong your cancer isn't back is it " Brad asks panic and sadness in his eyes
"No it's not me Charlie he came to surprise us but he got really sick. Brad he has a brain tumour" I say as I cry tears fall from Brad's eyes to.
I hug Brad so tight.
"He is gonna be okay though. Cause if I can get through it sure as hell he can" I say as tears fall from both our eyes.
Charlie was one of Brad's first best friends of course he is going to be upset.
Later that day we went to the hospital and spent the rest of the day and night with Charlie.
