Today is Easter Sunday, the day Jesus our Savior and redeemer rose from death. He went through persecution so that we may be free, he was wounded, hurt, and beaten just so we can be reconnected to God.
He died a shameful death, a painful death, one filled with pain and suffering. He said it is finished, he won the key of hell and of earth by conquering death and the devil.
Today we celebrate his resurrection, and we know that he is seated at the right hand of God, today and forever.
